Actress Gwyneth Paltrow was already an Oscar-winning star when she joined the MCU with Iron Man. Playing Tony Stark’s secretary/love interest Pepper Potts, Paltrow was the non-metallic heart of Stark and she went on to appear in subsequent films in the MCU such as Iron Man 2 and Avengers: Endgame.
Paltrow has focused on her controversial wellness brand Goop for the past few years, reportedly bringing up her net worth to $200 million. The actress still appears in a few films but her stint in the Iron Man franchise is probably her most lucrative acting gig. While it has not been disclosed, the films’ success has undoubtedly got her great paydays.

Warning: Spoilers for Action Comics #1081Superman may be regarded as a paragon of justice in the DC Universe, but even the Man of Steel isn't perfect, and his greatest failure demonstrates just how flawed he is. At long last, Superman has been forced to acknowledge that there's one person he's unable to save: his own brother. Despite his many successes, Superman must contend with a major shortcoming of his in a heartbreaking moment.
The preview for Action Comics #1081 by Mark Waid, Clayton Henry, Matt Herms, and Dave Sharpe sets the stage for an epic finale as the Phantom Zone's escaped prisoners converge on Earth to take out the Super-Family once and for all. Mon-El is becoming solid outside the Phantom Zone, which would kill him, so Superman forces him back into exile.

One of Superman's most recognizable powers is his heat vision, and it's so iconic that many Superman variants over the years have used heat vision to varying effects. But despite how recognizable this ability is now, Superman didn't always have it, and its history is pretty long and varied.

Warning! Spoilers for Action Comics #1071!There are tons of different members of Superman's Super-Family, but few people remember his oft-forgotten brother - who has just returned in a major way with a villainous new identity. While there's no doubt that Superman always hoped to see Mon-El again, it's unlikely he ever expected to see him as the new Phantom King.
The shocking return of Mon-El is revealed in Action Comics #1071 by Mark Waid and Clayton Henry. In this story, the Phantom Zone has begun to change, and Superman can't see what's going on inside it. Considering that the Phantom Zone holds some of the worst criminals in the universe, this naturally concerns Superman. With no other choice and wanting to get to the bottom of this, Superman enters the Phantom Zone, where he meets the Phantom King - otherwise known as Mon-El.

Kryptonians are some of the most powerful beings on the planet, which is why the idea of an entire family composed of them is so terrifying. While Superman is often regarded as the most powerful Kryptonian around, his family members aren't far behind.
The Super-Family has grown in recent years, and each new member seems to be more powerful than the last. From classic members like Superboy and Power Girl, to members rarely heard of, like Ronan Kent, or even new additions like Osul-Ra, every member is pretty strong in their own right and has every reason to be in the family. That said, not all of them are equal in power, despite their shared Kryptonian heritage. Some members of the family will simply always come out on top.

For years, one of the most important parts of Superman's lore was that Superman was the last living Kryptonian; there weren't any other survivors in the entire universe. But as the DC Universe continued to expand, the idea of Superman as the last living Kryptonian started to seem like a waste of potential.
After a few decades of Superman being the last living Kryptonian, DC began introducing more survivors, both as friends and enemies to the former Last Son of Krypton. These additions included major characters such as Kara Zor-El's Supergirl and General Dru-Zod. While Kryptonians were once thought to be nearly extinct, there are more than ever now, with at least fifteen known survivors and likely many more.

Superman faces Phantom King in the Phantom Zone in Action Comics #1071. The Phantom King has a long comic history and will be joined by Aethyr in the upcoming arc. Xadu, a key player in previous stories, aims to gain Aethyr's powers as the Phantom God.
The upcoming Action Comics #1071 will see Superman trapped within the Phantom Zone and brought face to face with the dreaded Phantom King. The DC Universe is full of dangerous places, but few are as dangerous as the Phantom Zone. But despite the Phantom King's intimidating moniker, he actually has a fairly goofy history.

Supergirl's debut in 1959 marked the beginning of her career as one of DC's most underrated heroes, sharing Superman's powers and costume. Her first appearance in "Action Comics" #252 introduced her as Kara Zor-El, cousin to Superman, and set up intrigue around her true intentions. Supergirl's character has evolved over the years, gaining more story potential and complexity, with her origin adjusted to reflect her experiences on Krypton.
The comic book debut of Supergirl deserves a deep dive. In 65 years, the Supergirl mythos has become as rich as that of her cousin's, with the character's popularity currently at an all-time high. DC Comics treats the character with enough respect to canonize that she's even stronger than Superman, solidifying her as DC's most overlooked character.
But to truly understand just how her popularity grew so vast over the years, one must analyze her original debut appearance in the DC Universe. Tracing the beginnings...

The DC Universe reboot is already poised to feature major heroes such as Superman and Batman, plus a few more obscure faces. The goal is to put the entire gamut of DC's comic book library on the big screen, making every character "mainstream" in some way. This requires respecting the broad legacy of DC's various "families," which include numerous sidekicks and young heroes.
The Damian Wayne version of Robin is confirmed to be in the Dcu's future, but he's only one of several sidekicks connected to DC's stable of heroes. Sadly, as iconic as some of these characters are, they aren't always given their due in either comics or adaptations. Thus, the DC Universe is the perfect place to change this, making audiences fall in love with young heroes besides Robin.

In an issue of Adventure Comics from 1959, Green Arrow unknowingly created a massive Kryptonite arsenal by crafting his arrow-tips out material from a mysterious green rock he found, potentially making him a serious threat to Superman. When Season 1 of My Adventures with Superman concluded, it felt very bittersweet. Fans saw Lois and Jimmy as united as ever, helping Jack Quaid's Clark Kent. The Man of Steel had the woman he loved and his best friend. However, there's an ominous air still brooding.
Amanda Waller has Task Force X while a robotic Brainiac and General Zod are eyeing Earth. Clark needs allies to help out in the wars to come. Physically, he's still developing, but with this mental backing, he'll evolve even quicker. With that in mind, there are a few iconic DC heroes and buddies Superman could do with in a second season.

Iron Man is known for living life on the edge — and for loving high-tech machinery. So it’s entirely appropriate that a cosplay from Ella787 features Iron Man armor combining Tony Stark's iconic look with a high-powered sports car.

As far as power levels go in DC Comics, there are only a handful of heroes on par with Superman himself. After all, the Man of Steel is considered to be one of the strongest beings in the DC Universe as well as one of the big guns of the Justice League. But when his abilities are officially categorized, it appears that Superman isn’t in a league of his own.
Future State: Legion of Super-Heroes #2 by Brian Michael Bendis, Riley Rossmo, and Ivan Plascencia finds the titular team on the brink of destruction, but what’s really interesting is data provided about the one and only Bouncing Boy at the start of the issue. Michael Shannon is one of the few lucky actors in the Snyderverse who will have the chance to play his character again in The Flash, the next DC movie that will mean the end of the previous canon of the franchise and a new beginning for the cinematographic universe of the company.
After becoming the main villain of Man of Steel in 2013, delivering a highly acclaimed portrayal of General Zod, Shannon will once again become a major threat to Earth, taking on Ezra Miller's Barry Allen in Andy Muschietti's film.
However, it seems that the actor is not as satisfied with the development of the story as he was with the project directed by Zack Snyder, as he confessed in an interview with Collider:
“Yeah. I'm not gonna lie, it wasn't quite satisfying for me, as an actor. These multiverse movies are like somebody playing with action figures.

Aquaman is one of the oldest characters in DC Comics history, dating back to 1941, and despite becoming something of a figure of fun in pop culture, he's largely spent that time as a wise hero and leader. However, with over 70 years of comic lore, he is bound to have a few hanging plot threads that were never resolved. By far the most curious of these is Aquagirl, the hero's first ever sidekick.
When most people think of the companions of Aquaman, they typically picture his love interest Mera or Garth, the original Aqualad, who later took on the hero name Tempest. More recently, Jackson Hyde took on the name of Aqualad and then Aquaman, denying his father's villainous legacy to become Arthur's heroic heir. There have also been others, including more ridiculous sidekicks like Arthur Curry Jr., aka Aquababy, and Salty the Aquadog. However, before any of those members of the Aquaman family,...

Ecosse Films has announced the official production start of their upcoming Diana (formerly titled Caught in Flight) and revealed the first official look at Naomi Watts as the iconic Princess. You can check out the image below.
Diana will be directed by Oliver Hirschbiegel (Downfall), and is based on a screenplay by Stephen Jeffreys. Joining Watts are fellow Brits Naveen Andrews as Dr Hasnat Khan, Douglas Hodge and Juliet Stevenson.
“I’m excited and honoured to be playing the role of a truly remarkable woman,” Ms.Watts said from the set of the film, “who had such a positive and profound impact in so many ways.”
Diana is described as a compelling portrait of Diana, Princess of Wales during the final two years of her life. It charts how finding true personal happiness allowed her to achieve her defining successes, as she evolved into a major international campaigner and humanitarian.
