NBC’s Suitsspinoff, Suits LA, was canceled earlier this year after just one season, but one of the show’s stars is heading to another series. Actor Bryan Greenberg, who played Rick Dodsen in Suits LA,has been cast in the hit Netflix comedy Emily in Paris, which is returning for a fifth season.

Per Deadline, Greenberg, who has also appeared in the film Bride Wars, and shows like How to Make It in America and The Mindy Project, will play Jake, an American expatriate living in Paris. Greenberg will join French actor Michéle Laroque (Better Days)as a recurring character for the fifth season of the series, which currently has a 64% critic score on Rotten Tomatoes.

The luxury fashion brand has tapped real life couple Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz Beckham to star in its pre-fall 2025 campaign. Two months after the cancellation of Suits LA, one of its stars has landed a major role. Led by Arrow star Stephen Amell, with original series creator Aaron Korsh returning to spearhead the spinoff, Suits LA turned its attention to the world of entertainment law and put former prosecutor Ted Black right at the center of the action.

Amell was joined by Lex Scott Davis, Bryan Greenberg, Maggie Grace, Tim Winbush, Alice Lee, and Azita Ghanizada, but the new focus and the overall new characters did not continue the revived momentum that the original found on streaming. Suits LA season 2 was axed by NBC in May, owing to the legal drama's weak ratings and the network's shifting priorities.

Lily Collins’ Emily will meet a fellow American expat in the upcoming fifth season of Netflix’s hit comedy Emily In Paris. Bryan Greenberg (Suits LA) has joined the cast as recurring, playing Jake, an American living in Paris. Also set to recur in Season 5 is French actress Michèle Laroque (Better Days) who will play Yvette, an old friend of Sylvie’s (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu). Jake and Yvette are two of the three known new recurring characters that will be introduced next season, along with previously announced Princess Jane, played by Minnie Driver.

Additionally, confirmed to return for Season 5 are Paul Forman, who has been recurring since Season 3 as businessman, heir and Mindy’s love interest Nico, as well as Arnaud Binard, who has recurred since Season 2 as Sylvie’s husband Laurent G.

Nico’s return is particularly noteworthy given his painful breakup with Mindy (Ashley Park) at the end of Season 4, which left her heartbroken.

Varietyreports that Thalia Besson, who played "sexy and deceitful antagonist Geneviève" in Emily in Paris season 4, is confirmed to return for season 5. According to Variety, Emily Cooper’s new Italian love interest, Marcello (Eugenio Franceschini), as well as her ex-boyfriends, Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) and Alfie (Lucien Laviscount) will also return, while another male character will join Emily in Paris season 5. Not returning, however, is Camille Razat, who played Camille in Emily in Paris seasons 1-4.

Emily in Paris season 4, part 2 has viewers wondering more about the newly introduced Genevive and the actor who plays her, Thalia Besson. For the most part, Emily in Paris' cast of characters didn't change too much in the fourth outing. Aside from Genevive, Laurent G's (Arnaud Binard) daughter, Emily's new love interest, Marcello Muratori (Eugenio Franceschini), was the biggest addition to the rom-com's ensemble. Ahead of the release of Emily in Paris Part 2 of Season 4 on Netflix Sept. 12, the cast and creators of the tentpole series gathered at The Space Cinema Moderno in Rome, Italy for a red carpet at Piazza della Repubblica and a premiere special screening.

Lily Collins, who stars as the titular character, dazzled in a golden dress with a shimmery stack of bangle bracelets on her right wrist. Ashley Park, who plays singer Mindy Chen, wore a sleek black dress with sparkly tassels and long black gloves to match. Lucas Bravo, who plays one of Emily’s love interests Gabriel, appeared as did costar Camille Razat, who plays that love triangle’s third person Camille. Razat did not attend the Part 1 premiere in August. Arnaud Binard, who plays Laurent in the Netflix series “Emily in Paris,” shared his thoughts on the show during the Monte-Carlo Television Festival.

He praised the show’s creator for going beyond the surface and exploring deeper themes. “I think the incredible talent of Darren Star is to transcend all the things you would call clichés into something very substantial, into something very human. And at the end of the day, the show is going a little bit further,” Binard said.

The actor joined the show in its second season due to scheduling conflicts during the first season.

The series has often been praised for its dreamy portrayal of Paris, depicting the city in a vision that is both artistic and somewhat surreal. Binard acknowledges this, stating that the show presents a perspective that may not reflect reality entirely. “It’s a vision, not artificial but a dreamy way of seeing Paris.

French TV festival Series Mania started out playfully with a slew of humorous digs directed at its starry guests during the opening ceremony, including Brian Cox, back in town to hold a masterclass and introduce the latest episode of his smash hit “Succession.”

Apple TV Plus and Mariah Carey released a trailer for “Mariah’s Christmas: The Magic Continues,” the holiday spectacular scheduled to debut globally on Dec. 3.

During the streamer's first-ever Tudum global fan event, the first teaser and premiere date were revealed.

December 22 is the lucky date, and all 10 episodes will be available.

Emily in Paris‘ adventures in the City of Love will continue when Season 2 premieres on Wednesday, Dec. 22, it was announced at Netflix’s “Tudum” global fan event on Saturday. Additionally, the streamer released a teaser video for the upcoming 10-episode run.

As TVLine exclusively reported, Season 2 will introduce a new love interest, Alfie (played by Katy Keene‘s Lucien Laviscount), who is described as a sarcastic and charming cynic who refuses to speak French or immerse himself in French culture. He and Emily have an antagonist relationship that evolves into something more.

“Emily in Paris” Season 2 will debut before the end of 2021, Netflix revealed Thursday, along with nine stunning first-look photos at the new season of the Lily Collins-led comedy.

That’s right, you won’t be waiting too long to return to Emily Cooper’s (Collins) life in Paris and live vicariously through her adventures in the Darren Star-created version of France. Though we don’t have an exact premiere date yet, so stay tuned for that.

According to TV Line, Lucien Laviscount is joining the cast of Emily in Paris Season 2.

And, if you thought it was going to be smooth sailing for Emily and Gabriel, we have some bad news.

Laviscount’s Alfie has been set as a major new love interest for the titular character.

While they’re hardly friends at the beginning of the season, Emily and Alfie grow closer as the sophomore season progresses.

Does this mean the end of Emily and Gabriel? We don’t know.
