- Henri Billen was born on January 27, 1918 in Woluwe-Saint-Pierre, Belgium. He was an actor, known for Prisoners of Honour - We Lived Through Buchenwald (1946), Si le vent te fait peur (1960) and Les uns, les autres (1972). He died on August 16, 2014 in Forest, Belgium.
- His career as a showman began at the Université libre de Bruxelles, where he attended and then directed the Jeune Théâtre. It was there that a group of young actors was formed, who, like him, would become pillars of audiovisual creation in the French Community of Belgium.
- He was also the founder of the Rideau de Bruxelles theatre troupe.
