After graduating from The University of Texas at Austin, Liza lived in New York City for ten years where she worked in Film, TV and Theatre. Liza returned to Austin, and is now working in politics and producing documentaries, independent features and political theatre.
Liza's first feature film acquired distribution in the United States and France. In 2012, Liza and her father were featured on the front page of The London Times with a 4 star review of Presidential Suite at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Liza went on to co-produce and AD feature films with Mel Brooks, Robbie Bryan, and Andrew Bujalski. Liza's current project is a documentary entitled Children of War, a follow up doc to original interviews with young teens living in war zones all over the world in 1994.
