Beyoncé
Something in the water! Beyonce, NeNe Leakes, and Giuliana Rancic were all caught wearing the same Alexander Wang micro-pleated red and black crop top. But, of course, Queen Bey was the first to rock the look. Jay-Z at an event for The Great Gatsby (2013)
Beyoncé Stuns as a Mexican Icon in Her Second Halloween Costume
Jay-Z at an event for The Great Gatsby (2013)
This Halloween, Beyoncé honored icons who paved the way for female artists. On Friday, the singer channeled Janet Jackson in an adorable moment with her daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, who dressed as Michael Jackson. Later that day, Beyoncé switched gears for a party at Charlie Bird in NYC, which she attended with husband Jay Z and Blue. With thick eyebrows, a floral headpiece, and a colorful ensemble, Bey nailed the look of Mexican artist Frida Kahlo. She stopped short of donning a mustache and full-on unibrow, two features Frida made prominent in several of her incredible self-portraits. Although Bey is the only A-lister who has dressed as Frida this Halloween, she isn't the first music superstar to channel the artist, since Madonna has paid homage to the painter throughout her career. Meanwhile, Jay Z also embraced the art theme, dressing as American artist Jean-Michel Basquiat in a trench coat, sunglasses,...

Beyonce Dresses as Painter Frida Kahlo For Second Halloween Look: Picture
Frida Kahlo
Beyonce is known for her artistry, but on Halloween, she took it to the next level, dressing up as famed Mexican painter Frida Kahlo at a party at Charlie Bird in NYC.  Though she didn't give herself a unibrow, the "Flawless" singer, 33, did match one of Kahlo's most iconic looks perfectly in a blue printed dress with a colorful flower crown.  Kahlo, the wife of fellow painter Diego Rivera, was best known for her slightly surreal self portraits. She died at age 47 in 1954, but endured [...]...

Don Cheadle Will Direct And Star In Miles Davis Biopic Kill The Trumpet Player
After years in development, it appears that all the pieces are finally falling into place for the Miles Davis biopic Kill the Trumpet Player. Don Cheadle is set to portray Davis and will also direct the film, working from a screenplay that he co-wrote with Steven Baigelman. Ewan McGregor and Zoe Saldana will take on supporting roles.

Though Davis was one of the most influential musicians of all time, Hollywood has never before succeeded in bringing his fascinating life story to the big screen. Kill the Trumpet Player will adopt an unconventional structure to communicate Davis’ personality. According to the official press release, the film will tell “the story of a few dangerous days in the life of Miles Davis, the virtuoso, fighter and genius, as he bursts out of his silent period and conspires with a Rolling Stone writer (McGregor) to steal back his music.”

That description places Kill...
