Beth Dutton became a fan-favorite character on "Yellowstone" and a big part of that is down to actress Kelly Reilly, who somehow managed to strike a delicate balance between the character's strong independence and her often shocking amorality. According to Reilly, it's the character flaws that really endeared fans to Beth, with audiences quickly becoming simultaneously appalled and enraptured by the character's willingness to embrace her failings and maintain her strong will even at the expense of those around her, including loved ones. Updated with more signatories: Reaction continues to The Zone of Interest director Jonathan Glazer’s acceptance speech after his film won the Oscar for Best International Feature Film this month.

Some 1,215 Jewish show business professionals now have signed a letter denouncing the filmmaker’s speech, in which he decried the “dehumanization” of the October 7 attack on Israel by Hamas. See the updated full list below.

“We refute our Jewishness being hijacked for the purpose of drawing a moral equivalence between a Nazi regime that sought to exterminate a race of people, and an Israeli nation that seeks to avert its own extermination,” the letter states (read it in full in full below).

STXfilms has acquired the domestic rights to “Me You Madness,” the directorial debut of actress Louise Linton, who is also married to U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, an individual with knowledge told TheWrap.

Linton also stars in the campy, comedy and thriller alongside “Gossip Girl” actor Ed Westwick, and the film will be made available through premium video on demand. STX is aiming for a mid-February 2021 debut.

Linton in “Me You Madness” plays a serial killer living a life of luxury in a dream house in Malibu who seduces a petty thief to be her next kill, only for the two of them to slowly fall for each other. Here’s the full synopsis:

Oh boy. Guys, I do not know what to do with Black Box, ABC’s new medical drama. (Yes, the show is about neither airplanes nor experimental theater; yes, its protagonist’s last name is “Black”; yes, this is a titling convention that must be stopped immediately.)

When its logical left brain is in control, Black Box is an utterly conventional, thoroughly dull entry in the over-saturated “Insufferable Genius” genre. But when the show’s crazy right brain takes over, it’s a jaw-dropping, over-the-top campfest with true potential to fill the Smash-sized hole in your (read: my) heart.

If there's been one glaring flaw in this new golden age of TV drama, it's that so much of it has focused on stories of damaged male anti-heroes, without offering us enough equally complicated female protagonists to balance them out. Black Box, ABC‘s latest drama, feels a lot like a show created by committee, and constructed largely by piecing together ratings research of plot and character points. ABC's new medical drama "The Black Box" isn't going to be the next "Grey's Anatomy" for the network, and that's not what it's supposed to be. The 13-episode limited series intends to show "brilliant neurological cases" that allow main character Catherine Black (Kelly Reilly) to shine. The only catch? Catherine suffers from manic bipolar disorder.

But similar to "Homeland's" Carrie Mathison, Reilly's character isn't defined by her mental illness. Instead, executive producer Amy Holden Jones explains at TCA 2014 winter press tour, "It is a part of the character. It is not what the show's about."

Like "House," each episode of "The Black Box" will focus on at least one neurological case. And when Catherine is on her meds, Reilly and Jones say, the doctor is at the top of her game.
