  • Had two daughters, Jenny Jacobs Greene (father, English actor Anthony Jacobs), and Lindy Greene (father, director David Greene). Both daughters were born in London, England, Jenny in 1943, Lindy in 1949.
  • Dark-haired South African-born actress and writer, prominent on British screens during the 1960's and 70's.
  • She was married to both David Greene and Charles Jarrott. Both these men were unsuccessful British actors who went to Canada in the 1950s, became successful television directors there, returned to Britain to direct TV with far greater success, subsequently became film directors, had much less success in this field and eventually returned to TV, mostly then working in the US. Also, in both cases, the marriages ended in divorce.
  • With Anthony Jacobs, she was the great-grandmother of Lil Peep.
  • She was the daughter of Rachel Fanny (Freeman), from Harare, Zimbabwe, and Saul Inglestone, from London. Her parents were of German Jewish/Russian Jewish descent.
  • Writes under the pen name of Ursula Gray which was her mother in law's name.
  • She was voted tv actress of the year in 1965.
