Else Blangsted(1920-2020)

As noted in her prestigious obituary in the New York Times (May 21, 2020), Else's life story was the subject of the documentary Looking for Else (2007), which was written and directed by her grandson, Sandy Kopitopoulos. Sandy was the son of Else's "discovered" child, Lily--the daughter that teenage Else had been told had died, but had actually been secretly adopted 47 years before.

Like everyone else, I did my job, and I did my best. I just did it longer, not better.
