Production on the upcoming film Le sens de l'humour has been over since last month. While no trailer isn't available, we've got a visit on the set of this film. Moreover, Le sens de l'humour will be released in Quebec on July 8, 2011.

This film is the second collaboration between Michel Côté, Louis-José Houde and director Émile Gaudreault. In fact, we remember them for having worked together on the comedy De père en flic, which holds the box office record for the most profitable Canadian film in Canada (not the world, mind you) with $11 million.

The story follows two comedians who decide to work together. Needless to say that these two guys will have success. One day, they make fun of a member of the audience. However, that person turns out to be a serial killer.

Radio-Canada, a French Canadian TV network, has finally announced that its new original comedy series Mauvais karma will premiere on Wednesday, September 8 at 9 Pm.

The show - which was created by created by Isabelle Langlois (Rumeurs) - follows three women: Nathalie (Hélène Bourgeois Leclerc), Kim (Julie LeBreton) and Sarah (Anick Lemay). Nathalie wanted love, Kim, success in life, and Sarah, peace. However, they'll all end up having the opposite of what they wanted. Besides, by a quirk of fate, these former ex-friends are reunited, after 18 years, for a funeral that will... end in a police precinct.

Nathalie, who recently got married, lost her husband in tragic circumstances. She inherits her husband's mistress, business company and his 15-year-old daughter. Kim, the group's top dog, is going to learn how it feels to fall when she'll get fired by force from her office. As for Sarah, she sabotaged her relation with her long-time spouse.

Alliance Vivafilm, a Canadian distributor, has released the first poster of the upcoming comedy Le sens de l'humour. While it is currently in production, the film will be released in Quebec on July 8, 2011.

Sphere Media, a production company, announced that Radio-Canada, a public TV network, had picked up its half-hour comedy series Mauvais karma, which was created by Isabelle Langlois (Rumeurs). Production on the show began on May 3 and will be underway until the end of August for a total of 47 days.

This means that 13 episodes - this includes a one-hour pilot - were ordered by Radio-Canada.

On February 16, 2010, the 200th episode of the teen sitcom Une grenade avec ça? will be aired on Vrak.TV, a teen-oriented cable network, at 5 Pm. Moreover, Rachid Badouri, a humorist, will be the guest star for this episode.

In this special episode, a contest for the employees is organized at the Captain Creighton, a chain of fast food restaurants. This is done in order to celebrate the 200,000,000th "burdog" that will get sold. Each restaurant of the chain must produce an advertisement clip based on a script written by one of its own employees. Of course, everybody expects Anaïs (Catherine Proulx-Lemay) to win the contest. However, the winner is Marine (Caroline Gendron).
