Ashley F. Brooks

Born in Youngstown, Ohio. Family name: Francis Murphy and Catherine
O'Hara from Ireland. Ashley is an Irish American actress with Dual
European and American passports. First performed in fourth grade on
television, singing America the Beautiful. Went on to become one of the
finalist in the Miss Ohio, Miss Universe Contest. After graduating from
college, Ashley moved to Chicago.
She studied at David Mamet's St. Nicholas School of Drama, at Steppenwolf Theatre and singing at The American Conservatory of Music. During these studies in Chicago, Ashley professionally modeled appearing in regional and national print media including magazine covers and billboards for clients such as Canadian Club Whisky (in Time, Newsweek, Chicago Tribune, etc.) and etc. And, performed in theater projects, national and regional commercials, industrials and was the spokesperson for countless live shows for Conventions.
Ashley moved to Los Angeles to further career. Has been actively performing in feature films, television and stage with both local and touring companies.
She has been awarded three Emmy Certificates of Achievement from The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for Outstanding Contribution and Service, was appointed to the board for the Actor's Peer Group for 3 years and votes on the Blue Ribbon panel of judges for the Emmy's. She feels privileged to have performed in the elite Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Directors' Repertory projects, which were taped in back Lot of Warners by directors chosen by this Academy who are Emmy or Multiple Award winners.
