HGTV's Jenny Marrs Speaks Out Amid Hateful Comments Online
Image
Jenny Marrs is opening up about online vitriol.

The 46-year-old Fixer to Fabulous co-host and HGTV star spoke out on social media amid mean comments online.

In a post over the weekend, Jenny spoke out alongside a note and a passage from The Bible Recap by Tara-Leigh Cobble.

“Yesterday, I happened upon some really hateful words written about me on the good ole’ internet. Reading through the thread, I went down a deep dark tunnel online of vile hatred. I was shocked and so deeply hurt. I truly don’t understand how strangers could feel so passionately about things like my voice (I can’t change this), my paint choices, my sarcastic jokes and my parenting (I won’t even get into how hurtful and disgusting this line of reasoning was),” she began.

Keep reading to find out more…

Jenny is married to Dave Marrs, 45, who’s also her co-host on the HGTV renovation show.

Tupac Murder Suspect Ordered to House Arrest Until Trial
Image
Duane “Keffe D” Davis, the man charged in the 1996 murder of Tupac Shakur, was ordered to await trial under house arrest, a judge ruled Tuesday. Davis will be ordered to wear an electronic monitoring device, the Associated Press reports.

Bail was set at $750,000, and Davis’ attorneys told AP they expect him to post bail.

Prior to Tuesday’s hearing, Prosecutors had argued in a court filing on Dec. 28 that Davis’ release pre-trial could endanger witnesses, as a recorded prison call between Davis and his son suggested there was a “green...

Tupac Murder Suspect Claims Past Statements About Murder Were ‘Entertainment’ in New Court Filing
Image
Duane “Keefe D” Davis has been denied bail since he was first arrested and charged with murder in September in connection to the killing of Tupac Shakur 27 years prior. Last week, his lawyers filed a motion requesting the 60-year-old be released while pending trial, which is scheduled to begin on June 3. Davis’ legal representatives are also requesting that the court establish a “reasonable bail,” according to Ktnv Las Vegas.

“Duane should not be denied bail in this case. It cannot be said that the proof is evident and the presumption...

Tupac Murder Suspect to Face Trial Next Year
Image
Duane “Keffe D” Davis, the former street gang leader charged with the murder of Tupac Shakur in Las Vegas in 1996, will stand trial on June 3, a Nevada judge ruled on Tuesday, according to the Associated Press.

Davis was first arrested and charged with murder at the end of September, almost exactly 27 years after Shakur was fatally shot in a drive-by shooting. Death Row Records co-founder Marion “Suge” Knight, imprisoned in 2018 over an unrelated manslaughter conviction, was also in the car with Shakur and was wounded.

Police said that Davis wasn...

Tupac Murder Suspect Pleads Not Guilty, Avoids Death Penalty Possibility
Image
Facing a murder charge in the Sept. 7, 1996 shooting death of Tupac Shakur, former California street gang boss Duane Davis received a little good news during his brief arraignment Thursday in a Las Vegas Courtroom.

The State won’t seek the death penalty for what authorities are calling Davis’ role as “shot-caller” in a drive-by shooting a block off the Las Vegas Strip that mortally wounded the 25-year-old Shakur and also wounded Death Row Records godfather Marion “Suge” Knight.

Davis, 60, is charged with first-degree murder with the use of a deadly weapon with a gang enhancement,...

The Best Books for Rush Fans
For all the stories they’ve told through song, the actual formation story of Rush is quite simple: Friends from school who live in the same suburban Canadian neighborhood form a band to play gigs at youth centers and local bars. After a few years, their songs gain traction on the radio, their albums start selling, and they’re soon traveling and touring the world. An overnight success they weren’t.

Of course, the details are more complicated, but the fact remains that the success of Rush is really a...

‘Blood Beat’ Blu-ray Review (Vinegar Syndrome)
Stars: Helen Benton, Terry Brown, Dana Day, James Fitzgibbons, Claudia Peyton, Peter Spelson, Franck Miley, Carol Wagner, Charlie White, Andrea Cauchon | Written and Directed by Fabrice A. Zaphiratos

Siblings Dolly (Dana Day) and Ted (James Fitzgibbons) – as well as Ted’s new girlfriend Sarah (Claudia Peyton) – are visiting their mother Cathy (Helen Benton) and her man’s man of a boyfriend Gary (Terry Brown) at their house in the scenic forests of Wisconsin. What should be a jolly and festive gathering starts off rocky with both Cathy and Sarah sharing bad vibes with one another and I’m not just talking about that usual distrust of in-laws! Shaky starts aside – it’s business as usual as the gang partake in the normal family bonding rituals such as hunting a single Bambi together when uncle Peter (Peter Spelson) pays a visit. Thankfully, Bambi lives to fight another day when the screamish...
