“Lego doesn’t do…”: 1 Missing Gameplay Feature Would Completely Ruin Any Lego Bloodborne Experience, Regardless of How Much Fans Want It after Summer Game Fest
Image
Bloodborne has aged like fine wine but it wouldn’t be bad if FromSoftware and Sony would give the gaming community a highly requested remaster. The Soulsborne title has been neglected for far too long and people are now making fun of the prospect of a family-friendly spinoff.

The recent Summer Game Fest by Geoff Keighley showcased a decent lineup of new games and one was leaked a while ago which involves the Horizon franchise. Sony partnered with Lego and produced a new spinoff title that seems to be the new approach for this generation.

Bloodborne Will Never Work as a Lego Game

The gaming community revealed why Bloodborne would never work as a light-hearted game.

The Soulsborne game was released almost a decade ago but it is still talked about to this day which is a testament to how it was well-received by the gaming community. The fans had...

Terrence Howard Sues CAA Over ‘Empire’ Salary: ‘Sooner or Later You’ve Got to Stand Up’
Image
“Empire” star Terrence Howard is suing CAA for breach of fiduciary duty, saying the talent agency allegedly asked him to take a lower salary for the popular show. He outlined his claims at a Friday press conference.

Howard played music mogul Lucious Lyon for six seasons of the Fox drama, produced by Imagine Entertainment and what was then 20th Century Fox TV. CAA also represented the producers of “Empire” in a package deal that was lucrative for the agency, he says. As such, Howard’s legal strategy asserts, the agency did not act in his best interest by pushing for a higher salary because it had a profit participation stake through its package, so CAA had an interest in maximizing the total profit that 20th TV realized on the series. Since 2020, the practice of talent agencies receiving packaging fees on TV series was essentially banned after the Writers Guild of...

Amazon's Live-Action God Of War: Cast, Production Status & Everything We Know
Image
God of War is finally getting a live-action adaptation after almost two decades of being stuck in development hell, and though it's in the early stages, there's plenty of live-action God of War news. The God of War video game series began in 2005, and it follows the titular god, Kratos, who was tricked into killing his family by Ares. Kratos attempts to get revenge, but he must first battle through hoards of Olympian gods. The series cleverly mixes Greek and Norse mythology, and eight games in the franchise and lore are only getting deeper and more epic in scope with every installment, and it's perfect for a long-running, big-budget TV series.

Amazon and Sony are developing a live-action God of War show, which will be available to watch on Amazon Prime Video. While concrete details are few and far between when it comes to the live-action God of War cast and story,...

Microsoft Warns That Pausing Activision Merger Will Sink Deal
Image
On Thursday, Microsoft opened a weeklong hearing that will decide whether its $69 billion bid to purchase video game behemoth Activision Blizzard should be temporarily blocked with a warning: If a federal judge grants the injunction that the Federal Trade Commission is seeking, the deal won’t go through.

“If we can’t close by July 18, and the court enjoins the transaction,” Microsoft’s lead attorney Beth Wilkinson said, “nobody can withstand that and we certainly can’t.” She stressed that siding with the FTC in the case will drag the company into a “three year administrative nightmare” that will doom the deal.

The argument set the stage for a mini trial in federal court in San Francisco between Microsoft and the FTC. The agency in December sued to block the merger, arguing that it will enable the tech giant to suppress competition in gaming. If approved, the deal will marry Microsoft,...

101 Films have this week announced that in 2022 they are bringing the American Genre Film Archive (Agfa) line-up to the UK. This ongoing partnership will see a steady slate of some of the weirdest and wildest films ever committed to celluloid released on Blu-ray and across digital platforms for the first time on this side of the Atlantic.

11 Films We’re Excited to See at Fantastic Fest 2016
This week, I’ll be heading out to Austin, Texas, for my first-ever Fantastic Fest, and I could not be more thrilled. Every single year, the festival introduces audience members to some of the most insane and boundary-pushing genre fare from all over the world, and I’m excited to get my first real taste of it starting this Thursday.

And while the entire Fantastic Fest slate looks incredible (seriously, I wish I could have three clones with me in Austin just so I could see everything), I’ve put together a look at the 11 films I’m ridiculously excited to see. One note: there are several films playing at Fantastic Fest that I have already seen at previous fests, including The Eyes of My Mother, The Greasy Strangler, and Phantasm: Remastered, so it didn’t feel fair to include them here.

The Dwarves Must Be Crazy (World Premiere,...

‘The Executioner Part II’ Blu-ray Review (Vinegar Syndrome)
Stars: Christopher Mitchum, Aldo Ray, Antoine John Mottet, Renee Harmon, Dan Bradley, Jim Dratfield, Sandra Sterling | Written by Renee Harmon | Directed by James Bryan

For years I, and many others, believed that James Bryan’s The Executioner Part II was one of those “hilarious” movies – like Leonard Part 6 and Surf II – that posits that it is a sequel, only it’s a sequel to a non-existent movie! Turns out that is Not the case here… Bryan’s film is in fact an in-name-only sequel to the 1970 George Peppard film The Executioner. How do I know this? Well it’s all thanks to the fascinating interview with James Bryan found on the new Blu-ray of the film from Vinegar Syndrome off-shoot Exploitation.TV – released as part of the Indiegogo campaign for the companies VOD service.

Hailed as one of the craziest, and most incomprehensible action movies Ever, The Executioner Part II is just that.

Satan’s Screener Takes on The Executioner Part 2
After a long walk away to clear his mind of the horrors that were Another Night In China, Moronic Mark is back to take on more bad movies. This times he's delight to watch The Executioner Part II, which has to be one of the funniest dubbed movies of all time. The dubbing of this movie is so terrible that at first the viewer may feel forgiving thinking that something was lost in translation, but it was all filmed in the U.S. (with no sound) with actors speaking English (which they half-assedly dubbed in later). So from 1984 by director James Bryan (Don't Go In The Woods). Enjoy The Exterminator ripoff, The Executioner Part 2.
