Sas: Rise Of The Black Swan Ending - Sequel Setup & More
Image
The second act of Sas: Rise of the Black Swan ramps up the action after revealing a traitor within the Sas team. The movie subverts action clichs, with Tom's refusal to join Black Swan, highlighting his strong loyalty to Britain. The film oversimplifies mental health terms, but sets up a sequel by leaving the ending open for more Tom Buckingham adventures.

Netflix's Sas: Rise of the Black Swan features an action-packed ending that not only serves as an explosive conclusion but also sets up for a potential sequel in the future. Released in 2021, the thriller follows Sas agent Tom Buckingham (Sam Heughan) as he is tasked with stopping an international terrorist plot on the eve of his engagement in Paris. Multi-faceted, and always pulse-pounding, Rise of the Black Swan delivers a lot of action while also keeping the viewer guessing with plenty of political twists and turns. The movie...

How Sas: Rise of the Black Swan’s Ending Sets Up the Sequel
Image
This article contains spoilers for Sas: Rise of the Black Swan.

Sas: Rise of the Black Swan centers on a hijacking: terrorist leader Grace Lewis (Ruby Rose) and her Black Swans commandeer high-speed train Eurostream while it’s under the English Channel, and the Sas stud Tom Buckingham (Sam Heughan) attempts to thwart the hijacking while protecting his partner Sophie (Hannah John-Kamen), who he intends to marry.

Based on the novel Sas: Red Notice by former British soldier Andy Mcnab, the film is an unflinching political action thriller that ends with a massive explosion, a bloody knife fight to the death, and a massive government cover up. On the surface, this is pretty typical fare for an action-thriller grand finale. But there’s actually a lot going on beneath the surface that sets the stage for an even more explosive story down the line.

Let’s break down what really...

Sas: Red Notice Trailer Reveals Ruby Rose's First Project Since Quitting Batwoman
Image
After one season of The CW's Batwoman, star Ruby Rose quit, handing over the cape and cowl to Javicia Leslie for Season 2. So what has Ruby Rose been up to since walking away from the coveted DC Comics superhero role of a lifetime? She's been busy making action movies. And today, we have a look at her latest project titled Sas: Red Notice.

The first trailer for Sas: Red Notice comes packed with a ton of action and thrills. But it is not to be confused with The Rock's Red Notice, which completed principle photography late last year and is currently in post-production. That thriller co-stars Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot, and will premiere on Netflix sometime in 2021. So, in the meantime, we have this similarly titled action thriller to tide us over, which has a firm release date of March 16 On Demand.

Starring Sam Heughan, Ruby Rose, Tom Wilkinson and Tom Hopper,...

New Trailer for Action Thriller 'Sas: Red Notice' with Sam Heughan

"Get down there and kill her." Vertical has released a new trailer for Sas: Red Notice, an international action-thriller from Norwegian filmmaker Magnus Martens. A small army of well trained criminals have hijacked the Eurostar deep beneath the English Channel. Now with 400 hostages, the plan is to blow up the English Channel and in the process expose the British governments darkest secrets. But little do they know, they have one too many hostages, as Sas operator Tom Buckingham is on the train. With the woman he loves and an unborn baby also on board, Tom has one chance to stop Laszlo and his band of criminals. I admit this a cool setup, but it does look like direct-to-dvd action junk, for the most part. This stars Sam Heughan, Ruby Rose, Andy Serkis, Tom Hopper, Owain Yeoman, and Tom Wilkinson. Described as a "provocative and authentic portrayal of an emergency response...
