Fans are still reeling from the news that CBS comedy series Mom is coming to an end.

Over the last few days, the cast of the beloved show has been speaking out about the end date announcement.

The latest to speak out is Jaime Pressly, who has played Jill Kendall since Mom Season 2.

"I had the great fortune of being asked to join a show called @mom_cbs in its second season 7 years ago," the actress wrote on Instagram, adding that she didn't know of the series beforehand.

"But I knew with Chuck Lorre at the helm and @allisonbjanney and @annafaris ⁣as the leads it must be something special. So I jumped in head first not knowing what I was in for. After about 24 hours of social media-fed rumors, fans of CBS comedies can now officially rejoice: Mom, Mike & Molly and 2 Broke Girls all will be back for another season, the network confirmed Thursday.

The Anna Faris-Allison Janney comedy was renewed for Season 3, the Billy Gardell-Melissa McCarthy sitcom will return for its sixth go-around, and Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs will keep slinging hash for a fifth season.

Mom: Season Three Renewal for CBS Comedy
CBS hasn't made an official announcement yet but their Mom TV show has been renewed for a third season. Series writer Sheldon Bull broke the news on Twitter, writing, "Mom picked up for next year! Thanks, fans from all of us at Mom!"

On Mom, a single mom in recovery (Anna Faris) returns to live with her single mother, who's also in recovery (Allison Janney). The cast of the show includes Sadie Calvano, Blake Garrett Rosenthal, Spencer Daniels, Matt L. Jones, Nick Corddry, Mimi Kennedy, and French Stewart.

CBS is keeping the laughs comin'.  The network has renewed two of its comedies, Mom and Mike & Molly, for the 2015-16 season, according to reports.  Mom, which stars Allison Janney and Anna Faris will return for a third season, while the Melissa McCarthy starrer Mike & Molly will be back for its sixth outing.
