Dexter’s Most Underrated Twist Might Be Hiding in a Traumatic Death from Season 7
Image
Season 7 was full of some of Dexter’s most shocking moments: we witnessed Deb’s moral unraveling, Laguerta’s pursuit of Dexter, and her death at the hands of Debra. But there’s one moment that sits in the early episodes of the season, not getting nearly enough attention. The traumatic death of Wayne Randall in Season 7 Episode 2, titled “Sunshine and Frosty Swirls”, might have been just another addition to the Miami Metro Pd files.

However, his demise served as a haunting mirror for Dexter, who was grappling with internal conflict and struggles centered around going to prison. If a man who finally tried to do the right thing couldn’t heal, would Dexter be any different? While the show never really hammered this moment home, let us tell you why we think Randall’s death held more significance than we were led to believe.

Battle of the Badges: Gh’s Chase vs. Days’ JJ
Image
Armed with guns and tender hearts, we compare Days of Our Lives’ JJ and General Hospital’s Chase.

Protecting Their Loved Ones

Both characters have protected a loved one from a crime they thought said loved one committed. Days’ JJ (Casey Moss) is currently investigating the shooting of Ej (Dan Feuerriegel) and he has his suspicions that his love interest Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) could have pulled the trigger. JJ also helped Haley Chen (Thia Meghia) hide from Ice agents.

As a detective with a strong moral compass, Chase (Josh Swickard) often finds himself torn between duty and loyalty to family and friends. In 2021, Finn (Michael Easton) believed he had accidentally killed Peter (Wes Ramsey) after a struggle involving a vial of a deadly toxin. Rather than report the incident, Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) convinced Finn to cover it up. Together, they hid Peter’s body in the hospital’s sub-basement freezer.

Here’s What You Need To Know About Dustin On General Hospital
Image
From 2019 to 2020, Mark Lawson played Dustin Phillips on General Hospital. His name has come up recently because Lulu Falconeri emerged from her coma. One of the last things she remembered before the blast that rendered her comatose was learning that her then-boyfriend Dustin died as a result. Here’s a refresher on Dustin, to help jog your memory or acquaint you with the short-lived Port Charles resident.

Teacher by Day

Dustin was a teacher by day and ride-share driver by night. He was single and joined an online dating service where he was paired with Lulu. Production hasn't started on Season 5 of True Blood yet, but one of the show's stars has revealed that there will be a whole lot of new blood on when the series returns next summer. Actor Joe Manganiello, who plays the werewolf Alcide Herveaux, recently stated that the show's producers are casting a new pack of werewolves for Season 5. Here are his comments.

True Blood Casting News: Dale Dickey to Portray Marcus' Mom
You may not know the name, but we're pretty you'll recognize the face. Dale Dickey, winner of the 2011 Independent Spirit Award - Best Supporting Female for Winter's Bone, has joined the cast of HBO's "True Blood" as the mother of dearly departed werewolf packmaster Marcus Bozeman (played by Dan Buran).

Per TVLine Dickey's character will be known as Annie, who is also a werewolf. Powerful and respected within the pack due to her late son’s position, she's determined to perform a particular ritual. We're assuming said ritual might involve Alcide (Joe Manganiello), the person responsible for Marcus' death, but only time will tell.

The fifth season of "True Blood" starts production later this year ahead of its summer, 2012 return. Here's hoping they can reclaim some of the series' prior glory before it all went downhill during the last few years.

Stephan Smith Collins in Hellraiser: Revelations (2011)
The Ultimate Experience Courtesy of the Lament Configuration in 'Hellraiser: Revelations' Deleted Scene!
Stephan Smith Collins in Hellraiser: Revelations (2011)
Dimension Extreme is really pushing out Hellraiser: Revelations, the Victor Garcia-directed sequel that will open in limited theaters September 2, with a VOD launch on September 1. The gates of Hell will then open on DVD October 18. Already having shared with you guys the trailer, poster and handful of stills, Bloody now scored an exclusive deleted scene that features a bum explaining that the Lament Configuration will bring these kids the ultimate experience. It gets a little long in the tooth, with some gnarly acting, which is probably why it was trimmed. Starring Steven Brand as the new Pinhead, alongside Daniel Buran, Jolene Andersen, Nick Eversman, Stephen Smith Collins and Jay Gillespie, "Two friends in Mexico discover the Lament Configuration and unleash Pinhead, but one decides to try to survive by swapping himself with someone else. Not even Clive Barker’s butt-hole likes Hellraiser: Revelations
Ouch.

So, there’s been all sorts of confusion and drama on the latest Dtv sequel, Hellraiser: Revelations, coming to VOD on September 1st, then on DVD October 18th. First, fans were confused as if this was going to be the rumored remake or a direct sequel to the long-running series. Then, Doug Bradley confirmed, for the first time that he will not reprise the character of Pinhead, which immediately outraged fans.

From here, lots of hush-hush from the filming, followed by a sneaky limited theatrical run, which lasted like two weeks in L.A., and now, probably the most hilarious thing of all, is that Clive Barker took to Twitter to announce his final thoughts on the 9th film:

“Hello,my friends. I want to put on record that the flick out there using the word Hellraiser Is No F*Ckin’ Child Of Mine!” he screams via Twitter. “I...

Clive Barker Offers Final Word on Hellraiser: Revelations

"Hello,my friends. I want to put on record that the flick out there using the word Hellraiser Is No Fuckin' Child Of Mine!" he screams via Twitter. "I have Nothing to do with the fuckin' thing. If they claim it's from the mind of Clive Barker, it's a lie. It's not even from my butt-hole."

Hellraiser: Revelations (review here), directed by Victor Garcia (Mirrors 2), stars Steven Brand, Daniel Buran, Jolene Andersen, Nick Eversman, Stephen Smith Collins, and Jay Gillespie.

Look for it on VOD and in limited theatres on September 1st followed by a DVD and Blu-ray release on October 18th.

Hellraiser: Revelations' First Trailer is Too Easy a Target
The ninth film in the Hellraiser film series is set to move to DVD shelves October 18th and now the first trailer for this feature is available. Actor Doug Bradley has played Pinhead, the central antagonist, in the previous eight films, but he declined to participate in this latest film, titled Hellraiser: Revelations, after reading the script (Bradley). The short shoot time of two weeks also signals a possible rush to complete the film by Puzzlebox Films, which has no other titles attached to its name. Horror fans and Hellraiser fans can take a look at the clip here, which involves a late night at a bar, a bum, a box, and a bumbling line or two.

As well, Dimension Extreme will distribute this title. Other films released from this American film distributor include several sequels such as Feast II: Sloppy Seconds, Feast III: The Happy Finish, Pulse 2: Afterlife,...

First Trailer for Hellraiser: Revelations
Synopsis - Two friends in Mexico discover the Lament Configuration and unleash Pinhead, but one decides to try to survive by swapping himself with someone else. Once they go missing, family members go in search of them but find Pinhead instead. Pinhead makes his return to the silver screen, but that isn't quite the quality I was hoping or expecting. Obviously this is a low budget production, and doesn't seem worthy of the title, "Hellraiser." Hellraiser: Revelations, directed by Victor Garcia (Mirrors 2), stars Steven Brand, Daniel Buran, Jolene Andersen, Nick Eversman, Stephen Smith Collins, and Jay Gillespie. On VOD and in limited theaters September. On DVD and Blu-ray October 18th.

TrailerBomb: New Hellraiser Movie Looks Like A Cross Between Bad Daytime Soap & The Saw Films
I know a lot of horror fans that bow at the alter that is Cliver Barker’s original Hellraiser. I for one have no opinion on the series because I am not a horror fan. I have seen the first movie and I wasn’t that all taken by it in anyway. Dimension Extreme has unveiled the official trailer via B-d.com for their new sequel Hellraiser: Revelations, a low-rent direct-to-dvd horror inspired by Clive Barker’s classic. Revelations stars Steven Brand as the new Pinhead, with Daniel Buran, Jolene Anderson and Nick Eversman.

Unfortunately for fans of the franchise this movie looks like a horrible travesty. Not only does it look stupid as shit but the trailer is one of the worst trailers I have seen in a long time. The film follows two friends in Mexico that discover the Lament Configuration and unleash Pinhead, but one decides to survive by swapping himself.

Hellraiser: Revelations - Movie Trailer and Poster
Here's your first look a the new Hellraiser: Revelations horror film. To be honest I'm not the biggest fan of the Hellraiser franchise. I've seen many of the films, but they aren't movies that I find myself watching over and over again. I saw the original film when I was young, and it freakin' jacked me up. As for this new film, I'm sure I'll eventually see it, but I'm in no rush.

This newest film was directed by Victor Garcia and stars Steven Brand as Pinhead, Daniel Buran, Jolene Andersen, Nick Eversman, Stephen Smith Collins and Jay Gillespie.

The story follows two friends in Mexico who "discover the Lament Configuration and unleash Pinhead, but one decides to try to survive by swapping himself with someone else. Once they go missing, family members go in search of them, but find Pinhead instead."

The movie is set to open in limited theaters on September 2nd,...

Official Trailer for Terrible-Looking New 'Hellraiser: Revelations' Hits
"You opened it, summoned us, we came." Dimension Extreme has unveiled the official trailer via B-d.com for their new sequel Hellraiser: Revelations, a low-rent direct-to-dvd horror inspired by Clive Barker's classic. I didn't even know a new Hellraiser flick actually made it into production, but after watching this trailer, I wish I could've kept it that way. This looks like student filmmakers trying to make an homage to Hellraiser, I can't believe this is a real movie made by a studio. Revelations stars Steven Brand as the new Pinhead, with Daniel Buran, Jolene Andersen and Nick Eversman. You've been warned - this looks terrible! Watch the first trailer for Víctor García's Hellraiser: Revelations, via Bloody-Disgusting: Two friends in Mexico discover the Lament Configuration and unleash Pinhead, but one decides to survive by swapping himself. Once they go missing, their family goes in search of them, only find Pinhead instead.
