Even when Survivor fans are still watching their first seasons, they will already be developing opinions about Jeff Probst's popular reality show. This comes as Michael Bublé, Snoop Dogg, Niall Horan and Reba McEntire have been set as coaches for Season 28, which comes out in the fall.
Both seasons are being shot at the same time, hence the early announcement for coaches on Season 29 ahead of Season 28 debuting.

That’s right, all the way back in 1994, Charlie Parsons created a survival reality show called Castaway and pitched it to the BBC. However, they rejected the idea, so Parsons took the idea to Sweden, where it aired as Expedition Robinson in 1997 and became an immediate hit. When American producer Mark Burnett watched the same, he thought it needed better production and more focus on human drama.

The president posted on Truth Social, “Because of the fact that Rosie O’Donnell is not in the best interests of our Great Country, I am giving serious consideration to taking away her Citizenship. She is a Threat to Humanity, and should remain in the wonderful Country of Ireland, if they want her. God Bless America!”
The president cannot revoke the citizenship of someone born in the U.S., something that legal scholars have long noted. The 14th Amendment to the Constitution says, “All persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States.

Barry Diller’s colorful, candid new memoir Who Knew is a book that can’t help but read a bit like a bookend. Not necessarily for himself, or even for his cohort, but for the era of colorful, candid memoirs authored by Hollywood heavyweights.
It’s an entertaining shelf. Paramount head Bob Evans’ The Kid Stays in the Picture is the lodestar, followed by volumes from a pair of trailblazing female producers: Julia Phillips’ You’ll Never Eat Lunch in This Town Again and Lynda Obst’s Hello, He Lied. Those at the margins of the business have told some of the most memorable stories (recall Golden Age sex broker Scotty Bowers’ Full Service), although there have been revealing accounts at or near the top from managers Bernie Brillstein and Jerry Weintraub, indie legend Christine Vachon and the super-agent Michael Ovitz.

Last year, Michael Bublé became only the fourth new coach on The Voice to have a winning artist in his debut season.
Bublé coached Sofronio Vasquez, who won Season 26, putting him up there with Kelly Clarkson, John Legend and Niall Horan, who also coached winners after immediately joining the NBC singing competition.

CBS' landmark reality TV show launched on May 31, 2000, and is currently midway through its 48th season, with more on the horizon — Season 50 in 2026 will be an all-stars cycle in which the fans have all power.
During the hour-long panel at the Aero Theatre in Santa Monica, Probst talked about how Survivor has evolved from a social experiment into a cultural phenomenon over the past two-and-a-half decades. And it all began with an initial meeting with creator Mark Burnett at CBS, where the executives had narrowed down the hosting job to just two men: Probst and Phil Keoghan.
According to Probst, then-cbs boss Les Moonves said, "I have shows for both of them," and instructed Burnett to "just pick who you would like for your show, and I'll give the other guy the other show.
