More than three months after his murder, there’s been a crucial update involving one of the suspects in the killing of General Hospital actor Johnny Wactor.

One Pleads Guilty

TMZ reports that one of the four suspects, Leonel Gutierrez, 18, has pled guilty to attempted robbery and grand theft charges. Gutierrez faces up to five years in prison and is currently out on bond as he awaits sentencing in November.

Robert Barceleau, Wactor’s shooter, and Sergio Estrada, both 18, were also arrested and face murder charges. The two men, along with fourth suspect Frank Olano, 22, have all pled not guilty and will appear in court in October.

Wactor was shot and killed outside a bar he worked at in LA on May 25, 2024 after finding a group of men attempting to steal the catalytic converter from his car.

Former “General Hospital” star Johnny Wactor has died.

The 37-year-old actor was shot and killed on Saturday, May 25 in downtown Los Angeles after three unidentified suspects were allegedly seen trying to steal a catalytic converter from his car, Wactor’s mother, Scarlett, told TMZ.

According to the outlet, Wactor was with a coworker early Saturday morning “when they saw three men messing with Johnny’s car.” While Johnny did not interfere in the theft, either by trying to fight or stop them, “the men shot him anyway before taking off.”

Police reports indicate paramedics rushed to the scene just after 3:00 a.m. Pt. Sadly, Wactor was pronounced dead at the hospital.

At present, police have not shared a description of the armed suspects, but Wactor’s mother hopes they’ll be found quickly.

oIn an apparent robbery attempt gone wrong, a General Hospital actor was shot and killed in downtown Los Angeles on Saturday. The actor’s mother reported the news and the tragic demise of the soap opera star.

General Hospital Actor Killed In Robbery Attempt

The mother of Johnny Wactor, an actor who appeared in almost 200 episodes of General Hospital, announced that her son was murdered on Saturday morning in Los Angeles. The incident happened during an apparent attempted robbery attempt.

Scarlett Wactor told TMZ that Johnny with with one of his co-workers when they saw three men around Johnny’s car. They approached the men and it seemed that they might have been trying to steal his catalytic converter. According to Scarlett, Johnny didn’t try to stop them or attack them, but one of them shot him anyway and ran.

Sonny owns several businesses, but Corinthos Coffee has been the main one, started by him and Jason-Sonny owned sixty percent, Jason owned forty, and Jason once owned a motorcycle repair garage.

When Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) came to town Jason and Sonny let Brando have the motorcycle shop which he turned into a car repair garage.

After Brando’s death, his mother Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) gambled it away and gave it to Selina Wu (Lydia Look) to pay her gambling debt while Jason’s been presumed dead.

Sonny drove Gladys out of town, settling her debt with Wu and helped save Brando’s widow Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) from a dirty doctor.

General Hospital has fans on the edge of their seats as they await news on Brando’s (Johnny Wactor) condition.

He was hooked by the same person who injured Ava (Maura West), which means Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) didn’t attack his wife.

Brando was in the alley behind Charlie’s, where he was attacked. Fortunately, Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) was there to scare the attacker away, but she didn’t get there before her cousin was severely injured.

As the most recent episode of General Hospital aired, things for Brando didn’t look good. He was headed into surgery as Sasha (Sofia Mattsson), and Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) waited on any news.
