Daily Framed Solution For Today
Image
Like most other daily challenges, Framed has you solve a series of puzzles in order to stand victorious. Framed discerns itself by being based on movies instead, and poses frames from certain movies, with a total of 6 attempts per puzzle. Framed also makes sure to swap its puzzles daily – meaning that you can expect new puzzles daily.

These puzzles can be a bit challenging to complete at times, and for this, I will be listing the solutions for all 4 Framed puzzles as of August 3, 2025. You can find a complete breakdown of each puzzle below as well.

Framed Classic Solution for Today Image Credits: Framed/FandomWire

Today’s Framed Classic puzzle has you identifying the correct name of the movie from a total of 6 slides. Each slide will be a random frame from the movie in question, and you will have a total of 6 attempts before it’s game over.

If You Loved Happy Gilmore 2, You’ll Adore These 5 Comedy Films
Image
28 years after the release of Happy Gilmore, Adam Sandler is back with his sequel, Happy Gilmore 2. Set 29 years after Happy Gilmore won his first Tour Championship, he now returns to play golf for his daughter’s ballet school.

Just like the first film, the sequel is full of Sandler’s blend of potty‑mouth wit, underdog grit, and heartfelt redemption. The sequel brings back the beloved golf icon nearly three decades after the original, with nostalgic callbacks, the classic soundtrack, and a plot that finds Happy mentoring the next generation while still throwing fastballs (or golf tees) at anyone who gets in his way.

Reuniting Sandler with several of the original stars like Julie Bowen, Ben Stiller, Blake Clark, and Christopher McDonald, the film also stars several fresh faces like Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, and his daughters Sadie and Sunny Sandler. A sports comedy drama that would reignite your love for absurd premises,...

Shallow Hal Actor Rene Kirby Dies at 70
Image
Actor Rene Kirby, best known for appearing in the comedy movie Shallow Hal, has passed away. He was 70 years old.

Per Seven Days, Kirby's brother, Jon, announced that the actor died on July 11 at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington, Vermont. He had been hospitalized for two months prior to his passing, suffering from issues related to the kidney, bladder, and esophagus, as well as infections. Kirby previously lost the ability to speak after having his larynx removed due to throat cancer, which he had survived.

Kirby was born with spina bifida with more than a foot of his lower spine missing. As his spine was detached from his pelvis, his legs never developed, and his condition left him without the use of his legs. Kirby was described as a "fixture around town," known to the locals for often being seen maneuvering a three-wheeled bike with a hand crank.

As the fall festivals begin to roll out their lineups (a phrase you’ll be seeing a lot of on IndieWire in the coming days), a word of both caution and delight: don’t forget about the festival films that have already premiered elsewhere, from Sundance to Cannes. The Toronto International Film Festival certainly has not, as today’s full lineup of Gala and Special Presentations includes plenty of previously-premiered films that are already ranking among the year’s best.

We’re talking Sundance standouts like Mary Bronstein’s “If I Had Legs I’d Kick You” and Clint Bentley’s “Train Dreams,” plus Cannes hits likes Joachim Trier’s “Sentimental Value,” Mascha Schilinski’s “Sound of Falling,” Jafar Panahi’s “It Was Just an Accident,” Richard Linklater’s “Nouvelle Vague,” and Óliver Laxe’s “Sirāt.”

And today’s announcement also includes world premieres like Aziz Ansari’s “Good Fortune,” Maude Apatow’s “Poetic License,...

Filming ‘The White Lotus’ terrified Sam Nivola more than once
Image
"This interview is just gonna be a list of my fears," Sam Nivola says with a laugh. The 21-year-old actor is looking back at his breakthrough performance as people-pleasing Lochlan Ratliff in Season 3 of HBO's The White Lotus and, for the second time in a 20-minute interview with Gold Derby, has referenced working through a phobia.

As part of his first-ever (near) death scene — the result of Lochlan accidentally drinking a poisoned protein shake in the finale — Nivola shot a sequence in which the teen imagined himself drowning. It was filmed toward the end of the cast's lengthy stay in Thailand, when Nivola happened to have two weeks between call times. "It's always weird as an actor when you're not shooting every day. You can sort of psych yourself out. It's better when you're working constantly and you don't have the time to really get nervous or overthink things," he says.

Why Jack Black Regrets One Of His Biggest Box Office Hits
Image
As evidenced by the success of "A Minecraft Movie," Jack Black can still draw audiences in with his brand of silly big screen comedy. It may not be everybody's cup of tea, but few actors are better than he is when playing "big kid" characters, may they be good-hearted individuals like Dewey in "School of Rock" or those with rather questionable morals and values (such as real-life fraudster Jan Lewan in "The Polka King"). You could also count Hal Larson from "Shallow Hal" in the latter category, but due to the 2001 film's arguably problematic humor and the generally unlike behavior of Hal and his best friend Mauricio (Jason Alexander) for most of its runtime, one would be hard-pressed to find it in a list of Jack Black's best movies. As it turns out, the actor also wasn't a big fan of the project.

In a 2006 interview, Black opened up about...

Tim Baltz Has Always Been ‘The Righteous Gemstones’ Pole-Dancing, Monkey-Kissing Moral Center
Image
Watching HBO’s The Righteous Gemstones over four seasons, nobody can argue that many characters —each of them members of a self-serving family of megachurch moguls — have experienced a great deal of personal growth. Creator and star Danny McBride is the first to admit that they’re all devious scoundrels. But amidst all of that moral bankruptcy, at least one of the lot has emerged with their integrity intact.

Tim Baltz’s tenure playing Bj has seen him brawl with a naked man, suffer a catastrophic spill during a pole dance and in these final episodes, apparently french kiss a monkey. But all that has only fortified a character who went from hapless brother-in-law to inarguably the most evolved one of the bunch. “They see him as pathetic, yet he’s the person who retains his values throughout,” says Baltz. “The tension in his life is that he’s behaving...

‘The White Lotus’ star Sam Nivola talks Lochlan’s latest desperate act, teases ‘chaotic, complex, devastating’ finale
Image
The following interview contains spoilers from the seventh episode of The White Lotus Season 3, titled "Killer Instincts."

Even before the airing of the provocative sixth episode of The White Lotus Season 3, Sam Nivola, who plays insecure high school senior Lochlan, felt a shift. On a break from filming the Bobby Farrelly-directed indie comedy Driver's Ed in Wilmington, North Carolina, he'd recently returned to New York City for the weekend. "I've never been recognized in my life before this show," the 21-year-old son of actors Emily Mortimer and Alessandro Nivola tells Gold Derby. "And suddenly it was like I literally couldn't walk down the street in my hometown, which is cool — it's awesome to have people recognize your work — but it's also intense." There's less walking in Wilmington, he notes with a laugh, so he didn’t have too many fans of the HBO drama approach him last week to...

One of Seinfeld’s Biggest Stars Appeared in This Dated 2000s Comedy With Jack Black & Gwyneth Paltrow
Image
Best known for playing George Costanza on Seinfeld, Jason Alexander’s neurotic and self-deprecating characters have been loved for decades. However, after his success on the beloved sitcom, Alexander ventured into various other projects, including Shallow Hal, a comedy directed by the Farrelly brothers. Though it boasted a star-studded cast, including Jack Black and Gwyneth Paltrow, Shallow Hal has since become one of the most controversial films of the early 2000s.

While Alexander’s portrayal of Hal’s friend Mauricio in Shallow Hal was meant to be comedic, it quickly became one of the most criticized aspects of the film. Alexander, much like his co-stars, has since distanced himself from the film, expressing regret about his involvement. Although Shallow Hal was a commercial success, its outdated and insensitive approach to body image has made it a difficult chapter for many of its stars to revisit.

Shallow Hal Offers a Controversial...

10 Best Movies Set In Nevada, Ranked
Image
Nevada's population is slightly more than 3.2 million, with about 2.3 million living in the Las Vegas metro area. Which means that in a 110,000-square mile state (the seventh largest by land area in the U.S), more than 70% of the population lives in approximately 1,600 square miles. Urban concentration isn't exactly unique to Las Vegas, Nevada, so you're probably wondering why we're bringing it up. It's because Vegas' cultural footprint is larger than the state where it resides: Nevada. Except for New York City, maybe no other American city completely overwhelms the cinematic representation of its state. When it comes to Nevada, that's a mistake.

After all, The Silver State on the silver screen is much more than Sin City. It's westerns, sci-fi, romantic comedies, and even a few Best Picture winners. While there is no shortage of all-time classics set in Sin City, we're only going to rank the best movies set in Nevada,...

Bill Murray Was ‘Such A Creep’ to an Extra on ‘Kingpin’
Image
“Give me something on Kingpin,” Drew Barrymore prodded guest Bill Murray. “It’s a favorite film of mine.” Specifically, Barrymore was digging for dirt about “a favorite moment,” a scene in which Murray’s Ernie McCracken and Woody Harrelson’s Roy Munson share a meal in a diner.

The scene features an improvised button at the end in which Harrelson leaves the cafe and Murray nods a flirty “Hi” to a woman in another booth. The woman smiles and returns his hello but he shakes his head. “Not you,” he says to the woman, focusing his seductive gaze on her younger companion. “Hi.”

“It was horrible, it was really horrible,” Murray confessed about the bit that he “just made up in the moment.”

After he made the joke, there was a long silence before one of the Farrelly brothers called cut. As soon as the camera stopped rolling, Murray went...

Exclusive: Kumail Nanjiani (The Big Sick) and SNL alum Molly Shannon have signed on to star in Driver’s Ed, the teen road trip comedy from director Bobby Farrelly (Champions) on which we were first to report in December.

Set to enter production in North Carolina in March, with AGC Studios co-producing and fully financing, Driver’s Ed centers on a group of teens who steal their school’s driver’s ed car to go on a road trip to help a high school senior track down his college-freshman girlfriend and win her back.

AGC International launched sales at the European Film Market in Berlin last week, with additional castings to be announced soon. UTA Independent Film Group is co-repping US rights with AGC.

'There's Something About Mary' with Cameron Diaz and Ben Stiller, is a Streaming Hit
Image
Raunchy rom-com There's Something About Mary is climbing the streaming chart, currently sitting at number six on Hulu. Starring Ben Stiller and Cameron Diaz, the comedy was directed by the Farrelly Brothers (Peter and Bobby), and became a massive smash hit when it premiered in July 1998. The film went on to earn nearly $370 million at the global box office against a $23 million production budget. It currently sits at a positive 84% critical and, surprisingly, only 61% audience on Rotten Tomatoes.

Following the success of Dumb and Dumber in 1994, and, to a lesser extent, Kingpin in 1996, the Farrelly Brothers went to work on There's Something About Mary, which starred Stiller as Ted, Diaz as Mary, and Matt Dillon as Healy. Years after a disastrous high school date with his crush Mary (you have to see it to believe it), Ted gets another chance years later when his best friend Dom (Chris Elliott) suggests he find her.

Jeff Daniels Thought the ‘Dumb and Dumber’ Toilet Scene Would Either Be the Beginning or the End of His Career
Image
Before Jeff Daniels delivered the performance of a lifetime, he worried that he was about to find himself with no food and no job. Thankfully, his pets got to keep their heads.

In Peter and Bobby Farrelly’s 1994 buddy comedy masterpiece Dumb and Dumber, the Broadway star and Golden Globe-nominee took a major career risk by deciding to go toe-to-toe with Jim Carrey at the height of the latter’s box office power. In a year when Carrey also starred in Ace Ventura and The Mask, the In Living Color star commanded a $7 million salary for Dumb and Dumber while Daniels, best known as an exclusively dramatic actor on stage and on screen, took just $50,000 for the opportunity to co-headline a comedy with film’s funniest superstar. And, thanks to Carrey’s help (and a good-luck cup of tea), Daniels’ risk paid off.

In a recent interview about Dumb and Dumber for The Guardian,...

This Is Why the Farrelly Brothers Couldn’t Tell Anyone That John Hughes Was Involved With ‘Dumb and Dumber’
Image
A lot of different elements went into making Dumb and Dumber a huge hit — from the burgeoning superstardom of Jim Carrey, to the existence of industrial strength laxatives.

But as the film’s directors, Peter and Bobby Farrelly, recently told The Guardian, one of Dumb and Dumber’s key contributors was, in fact, legendary director John Hughes. They just weren’t allowed to tell anyone at the time, thanks to an ill-defined legal threat.

According to the Farrelly Brothers, the project originated with Hughes, who was “planning a movie called Ski Nuts about two dumb guys in Aspen. That’s all he had.” As the film’s co-writer Bennett Yellin once told Cracked’s Brian VanHooker, Hughes asked for a meeting with the writing trio after reading their unproduced script for a sequel to the disastrous Tom Hanks/Dan Aykroyd comedy Dragnet.

Yellin specified that Hughes handed the writers 50 pages...

The Farrelly Brothers Worked On A Classic Seinfeld Episode Before Their Rise To Fame
Image
Peter and Bobby Farrelly were complete unknowns in 1994 when they stormed multiplexes with the smash comedy hit "Dumb and Dumber." It was the third Jim Carrey movie of that year, and by far the funniest. With its unabashed gross-out gags (Jeff Daniels' explosive diarrhea sequence is a classic of the very low form) and aggressively silly shenanigans, the film ushered in a new era of buffoonish humor that made Jerry Lewis' work look like drawing room farces. (/Film ranks "Dumb and Dumber" as the Farrellys' finest effort to date.) The Farrellys then doubled down on their sickening shtick with the box office disappointment "Kingpin" in 1996, only to rise to putrescent prominence two years later with the raunchy blockbuster "There's Something About Mary."

While folks inside the industry were semi-familiar with the Farrellys as peddlers of comedy pitches, mainstream moviegoers were struck, well, dumb by their rapid ascent. So, those hungry...

Audiard was nominated for “Emilia Pérez,” Baker for “Anora,” Berger for “Conclave,” Corbet for “The Brutalist” and Mangold for “A Complete Unknown.”

Chu.

Other directors who didn’t make the DGA list include Coralie Fargeat for “The Substance” and Denis Villeneuve for “Dune: Part Two.”

Bobby Farrelly To Direct Road Trip Comedy ‘Driver’s Ed’ For ‘Outer Banks’ Jonas Pate & AGC Studios
Image
Exclusive: Following the November 25 Paramount+ launch of his holiday comedy Dear Santa, Bobby Farrelly has closed a deal to direct Driver’s Ed, a teen ensemble comedy to be fully financed and co-produced by Stuart Ford’s AGC Studio.

While we’d reported in October that Sporkinfeesten, a “finding your roots” style family vacation comedy loosely inspired by true events, would be Farrelly’s next project after Aaron and Will Eisenberg’s hot spec landed at Amazon MGM Studios, Driver’s Ed has gained traction first and moved to the top of the filmmaker’s docket, with casting underway for an early 2025 shoot in North Carolina.

It’s Opposite Week as ‘Conclave’ and ‘Terrifier 3’ See Split VOD Results
Image
For once, the top 10 movies on iTunes and Fandango aren’t close to a mirror image of each other. “Conclave” (Focus) and “Terrifier 3” (Cineverse), both successful October releases that exceeded theatrical expectations, were released on PVOD last week. They had the same availability yet vastly different results.

Edward Berger’s top award-contending “Conclave” took an immediate top spot at iTunes from its first day, yet is only #8 for the full-week in the Fandango top 10. Damien Leone’s “Terrifier 3” leads at Fandango, yet only briefly appeared during the week at iTunes (debuting at #3) before dropping off the list. It currently ranks #14.

The two charts can vary, but mainly in cases of different pricing. Fandango ranks by revenue accrued for a title, while iTunes goes by transactions. But in this case, they are the same price, making the different placements quite odd. In terms of relative position using daily charts for the week,...

Jim Carrey’s $456M Comedy Franchise Gets Surprising Future Tease From Creators 10 Years After Last Movie
Image
A Jim Carrey franchise has received a surprising update a decade after the release of the latest sequel. The Emmy-nominated performer is best known for his roles in comedies, with his breakout roles coming in the mid-1990s in movies including Ace Ventura: Pet Detective and The Mask. Over the years, he has appeared in a variety of well-known comedies such as Liar Liar and Bruce Almighty in addition to dramas including The Truman Show and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Cumulatively, his movies have grossed nearly $6 billion worldwide.

Although the star is now a part of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, where he has played the villain Dr. Robotnik in three consecutive installments, for quite some time he rarely made sequels to his movies. The one major exception was 1995's Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls, though several follow-ups to his movies were made without his involvement, including 2007's...

Post Malone’s Cameo In Dear Santa Explained
Image
Warning: Contains Spoilers for Dear SantaIt may sound odd that two prominent characters in Jack Black's new Christmas movie are Satan and Post Malone, but that's the case for Dear Santa. Dear Santa is an exciting film since it's Jack Black's first Christmas movie since The Holiday, which was released in 2006. In addition to Black, the cast of Dear Santa includes the aforementioned Post Malone, Robert Timothy Smith, Brianne Howey, and Keegan-Michael Key. While the film currently has a disappointing audience score of 35% on Rotten Tomatoes, Dear Santa should be enjoyed by fans of Post Malone.

The story of Dear Santa follows Liam, a sixth-grader who writes his Christmas wishlist and mails it out. However, he accidentally misspelled "Santa" as "Satan." Therefore, Jack Black, who plays Satan in the movie, appears to Liam the next day dressed as Santa and grants him three wishes. Dear Santa is clearly not a traditional 2024 Christmas movie,...

Dear Santa Review: Imaginative Paramount+ Film Proves Jack Black's Humor Is What Holiday Movies Need More Of
Image
Having Jack Black and Ben Stiller in a comedy feels just like old times. While the latter makes only a brief appearance, it’s nice that Dear Santa feels so carefree and fun with its humor. It’s been a while since a film aimed at younger audiences had me chuckling along as well, but Dear Santa manages to do that. Whether it’s because of the charming cast — Robert Timothy Smith is delightful as Liam Turner — or the outlandish plot, the holiday film is fully aware of what it’s going for and infuses the storyline with plenty of heart alongside its humor.

Due to a mix-up, young Liam, a dyslexic 6th grader, sends a letter to Satan instead of Santa, leading Satan to appear at his door, delighted by his first-ever fan letter and interested in acquiring a portion of Liam’s soul.

Dear Santa Review: Jack Black cannot save the Farrelly Brothers’ Christmas movie
Image
Plot: When a young boy mails his Christmas wish list to Santa with one crucial spelling error, a devilish Jack Black arrives to wreak havoc on the holidays.

Review: The Farrelly Brothers were a bastion of bad taste and crass humor when I was a kid. Basically, they were the funniest filmmakers in Hollywood. From Kingpin and Dumb & Dumber to There’s Something About Mary and Me, Myself, & Irene, Peter and Bobby Farrelly turned out movie after gut-busting movie. The Farrellys matured a bit as they got older, with Peter directing his Oscar-winning Best Picture Green Book and the Apple Original The Greatest Beer Run Ever. Bobby tried his hand at Champions with Woody Harrelson. Both directors returned to their broader comedy roots, with Peter directing Ricky Stanicky earlier this year, and now Bobby has Dear Santa. Co-written by Peter, Dear Santa reunites the Farrellys with their Shallow Hal star,...

Jack Blacks New Comedy Movie Returns Him To An Unexpected Genre 18 Years After His $206M Kate Winslet Rom-Com
Image
The newest Jack Black movie sees the actor returning to an unexpected genre after nearly two full decades. Black, who had his breakout role in the 2000 John Cusack movie High Fidelity, is best known as an actor in a wide variety of comedy movies including Shallow Hal, School of Rock, Tropic Thunder, and Kung Fu Panda. While he has appeared in movies consistently throughout his career, he experienced a major resurgence when he starred in the two most recent Jumanji movies opposite Dwayne Johnson, Karen Gillan, and Kevin Hart.

In the past five years since his appearance in Jumanji: The Next Level, Black's output has included a variety of well-known titles. This includes the animated feature The Super Mario Bros. Movie, which grossed over $1 billion, and the fourth Kung Fu Panda movie, which is the sixth highest-grossing movie of the year worldwide at the time of writing. His upcoming projects...

Farrelly Brothers On The Long Road To Jack Black Christmas Movie Dear Santa
Image
Peter and Bobby Farrelly's Christmas comedy, Dear Santa, starring Jack Black, has finally arrived after a decade-long journey. Dear Santa follows the story of Liam (Robert Timothy Smith), a young boy with dyslexia who thinks that Santa Claus "is probably not real." Still, he decides to write Santa a letter, but a spelling error has dire results. Instead of addressing the envelope to the jolly bearded gift distributor, Liam writes "Satan," summoning Black's character, who begins pretending he is Santa. During a recent conversation with Variety, the brothers discussed where the idea for Dear Santa was born and why it took them ten years to get the movie "just right:"

"Pete Jones and Kevin Barnett, who we work with a lot, brought us the idea and they said, 'A kid's writing a letter to Santa, but he misspells it and instead writes it to Satan.' We're like, 'We'll buy that.

Another 'Dumb and Dumber' with Jim Carrey & Jeff Daniels Could Happen if The Farrellys are "Still Around"
Image
The Farrelly brothers became well known for a string of gross-out comedies in the late 90s, and one of their biggest successes was the 1994 hit Dumb and Dumber. In a recent interview with Variety, Peter and Bobby Farrelly took a moment from promoting their new film, Dear Santa, to address the chances of fans getting to see Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels returning for a third time as the hapless Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dunne, respectively.

While no official plans are in place for any such movie, and with Jim Carrey still seemly on the verge of retirement, the Farrellys always apparently have an eye on jumping back into the Dumb and Dumber world. Asked about any of their past successes they would like to return to in the future, they said:

Peter: I still take notes whenever I hear something that I think would be a good Dumb and Dumber joke.

Dumb and Dumber Filmmakers Tease Another Sequel With Jim Carrey & Jeff Daniels
Image
Released in 1994, Dumb and Dumber still stands tall as one of the most popular comedy movies of its era. Three decades later, the Farrelly Bros. are teasing that a third installment will happen in another 10 years.

Recently, the Farrelly Bros. took part in an interview with Variety to promote their next film, Dear Santa. They were asked if there were any movies from their catalog they'd be interested in revisiting, and the 30-year-old comedy starring Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels was instantly mentioned. Peter Farrelly, who directed the film after co-writing the script with brother Bobby Farrelly and Bennett Yellin, confirmed there are loose plans to make another Dumb and Dumber film.

The Farrelly Brothers on Reuniting for ‘Dear Santa’ Ahead of ‘Dumb and Dumber’ 30th Anniversary
Image
In mid-December of 1994, the Farrelly brothers blew the roofs off cinemas around the world with their gut-busting feature directorial debut, Dumb and Dumber. And so it’s fitting that Dear Santa, their first feature film team-up in a decade, arrives just three weeks before the 30th anniversary of their Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels-led buddy comedy.

In the intervening years, the Rhode Island-raised brothers, Peter and Bobby, have kept busy, as the former won two Oscars — including best picture and best screenplay — as the co-writer and director of Green Book (2018). Bobby also directed the underrated Woody Harrelson-led comedy-drama, Champions (2023), having produced and/or directed various other projects across both mediums until that point.

Directors Bobby Farrelly & Peter Farrelly

But the brothers have remained close in the decade since their last go-round on Dumb and Dumber To, the sequel that marked the then-20th anniversary of their career-launching film.

'Dear Santa' and 'Dumb & Dumber' Creators Wants to Make a Horror Movie
Image
Though the Farrelly brothers are known for their comedy hits Dumb and Dumber, Theres Something About Mary, and Shallow Hal, 2018s Green Book proved that they have a lot more to offer than just laughter. The biographical film took home the Oscar for Best Picture, and Peter Farrelly won for Best Original Screenplay along with his writing partners, signifying that he has the chops to pen more than just jokes. Now the duo say theyd love to try their hand at another genre they have yet to dip their toes into: horror.

Speaking with Variety to promote their new film, Dear Santa, the Farrelly brothers touched on their interest in making a horror movie. While theyve been pegged as comedy directors for the majority of their careers, Peter pointed out other filmmakers such as Rob Reiner that have successfully made the jump between genres. That being said, he also mentioned...

The Farrelly Brothers Think ‘Shallow Hal’ Totally Holds Up
Image
The Farrelly Brothers are known for making iconic comedies like Dumb and Dumber, Kingpin and There’s Something About Mary — as well as less-than-iconic comedies like Hall Pass and the remake of The Heartbreak Kid that somehow missed the entire point of the original. After working on separate projects for the past decade (including one of the worst Oscar Best Picture winners of all time), the Farrelly Brothers are back together. Sort of.

The new comedy Dear Santa was directed by Bobby Farrelly, from a script co-written by Peter Farrelly. It stars Jack Black as the literal Devil, who is accidentally conjured by a small child after they write a letter to “Satan” instead of “Santa.”

Is it any good? Well, the fact that it dropped on Paramount+ on a Monday doesn’t exactly seem like a great sign.

But could Dear Santa possibly be worse than the Farrelly Brothers’ previous collaboration with Jack Black?...
