Image
This summer, the new horror movie Witchboard will be hitting theaters. The film is a remake of Kevin S. Tenney's movie of the same name released in 1986, and it has some notable names from the horror genre on board.

Set to be released on Aug. 15, Witchboard is directed by Chuck Russell. Jamie Campbell Bower of Stranger Things fame is also a part of the cast. The film is rated R for "strong bloody violence, gore, language, drug content, some sexual content, and brief nudity." A sneak peek at the film can be seen by watching the new trailer below.

"In New Orleans, Emily and her fiancé Christian are opening their new dream café," the official synopsis for Witchboard reads. "But their dreams are dashed when Emily finds an ancient, cursed Witchboard, an ancient artifact that once served as a gateway to the spirit world. As Emily becomes increasingly captivated...

Brad Dourif in Child's Play 2 (1990)

To find out all about the making of Child’s Play 3, check out the video embedded above.

Witchboard (1986)
Directed by: Kevin Tenney

Written by: Kevin Tenney

Cast: Todd Allen, Clare Bristol, Burke Byrnes, Ryan Carroll, Gloria Hayes, Tawny Kitaen, J.P. Luebsen, Rose Marie, Stephen Nichols

I was talking with a group of people at a local bar over the weekend, and the conversation strayed into a discussion of starlets of the 80’s. Of course, the first woman mentioned was Tawny Kitaen. While she’d appeared in several B-movies, her most notable performance was in a Whitesnake video, rolling around on the hoods of two Jaguars in a white negligee. But it didn’t and she started working on television, appearing on Hercules, Married… With Children and Eek The Cat. Her last movie role was in 1997’s Dead Tides, with Roddy Piper and Miles O’Keeffe.

Then, in 2002, her troubles with the law began.
