Angela has been coaching actors for over 20 years, and working in
casting for 8 years. She has cast feature and short films, TV movies,
series, pilots, game shows and commercials for NBC, CBS, ABC, MTV,
Showtime, HGTV, the Hallmark Channel and Nickelodeon, as well as a
music video for the alternative band Air. She is currently casting
roles of all ages and ethnicities for the upcoming feature film
Schooled.
Her casting credits include the films Berserker, Snackers, Manuel, The Sandbox, The Tao of Pong, Sacrifice, 5-Cent Curve, Outside a Dream, Monoboob & Marryin God.. She was a casting assistant on the pilot Navy NCIS (CBS).
She also cast the award winning feature film Searching for Wooden Watermelons, the Hallmark Channel pilot Lifeline, and the award-winning short films Harvest, Defending the $uper$ave and Sidewalk Motel.
Previously, Angela helped cast Hidden Hills (NBC), Beggars and Choosers (Showtime), Miracle on the Mountain (CBS), Loveline (MTV), The Man Show (MTV), The Mole (CBS), City Guys (NBC), Malibu USA (NBC), Hang Time (NBC) and USA High (NBC).
Since 1983, Angela has coached actors for feature film, TV, and stage roles, on-set, privately and at her own acting school in Studio City, CA. She teaches workshops and seminars nationwide.
Past students include: Jessica Biel (current film Stealth, WB's 7th Heaven), Nicholas Brendan (WB's Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Eliza Dushku (Fox's Tru Calling, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, feature film Bring It On), Katherine Heigl (ABC's Grey's Anatomy, UPN's Roswell), Tina Majorino (feature film hit Napoleon Dynamite), Tia and Tamara Mowry (stars of WB's Sister Sister), and Larisa Oleynik (Nickelodeon's The Secret Life of Alex Mack) and many others.
