Jackie Chan fans will understand the words coming out of Netflix's mouth: the streamer announced the full Rush Hour trilogy will hit its catalog next month. Rush Hour 1, 2 and 3 arrive on Netflix August 1, according to official listings. It'll be the only streaming platform to host all three Rush Hour films, a rare win for subscribed completists.

But the FBI doesn't want anything to do with Lee, and they dump him off on the LAPD, who assign wisecracking Detective James Carter (Chris Tucker) to watch over him.

There aren't many people in the world who can say that they were the voice of a generation. That was not the case with James Carter Cathcart, the voice actor known for his work in several animated series — including a slate of characters in the Pokémon franchise. Today, the Pokémon world and the world of voiceacting in general went a little bit darker as Cathcart's wife announced on social media that the actor died on July 8 in New York City at 71, following a battle with throat cancer.
Cathcart was so talented that he voiced not just one Pokémon character. He brought several of them to life in the English dub — a lot of them core characters who are directly linked to the childhood memories of several long-time fans. He voiced Professor Oak (the first Pokémon professor ever), Team Rocket's James, the team's talking Meowth, as well as Professor Oak's grandson and Ash Ketchum's rival,...

Jackie Chan's Rush Hour(1998) remains a classic buddy cop movie, but it now has a warning about its "offensive" humor. The movie stars Chan (Lee) and Chris Tucker (James Carter) as they work to rescue Soo-Yung Han (Julia Hsu) from a criminal enterprise. It was a massive hit and a potential Rush Hour 4is often discussed today.
The first movie earned nearly $250 million against a $30 million budget. Its sequel was well-received, as Rush Hour 2 (2001) earned $347 million against a $90 million budget. Rush Hour 3 (2007) struggled, earning $258 million worldwide on an estimated $150 million budget. Unfortunately, Rush Hour's legacy has been hindered by a startling new warning, captured by @VHSDVDBLURAY4K:

The time has come to say goodbye. The official trailer for Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale, the third and final entry in the big-screen continuation of the beloved PBS series, has arrived.
After 15 years, the story of the Crawleys and their staff will come to an end this September with Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale. All the familiar faces are back in the official trailer for the historical drama threequel, which looks set to feature plenty of heartfelt (and heart-wrenching) moments. As is often the case when it comes to Michelle Dockery's Lady Mary Talbot, there will also be a dash of scandal, as the trailer reveals that the fan-favorite character has divorced her husband, Henry Talbot. This development shouldn't come as too much of a shock to Downton fans, given that Henry's portrayer, Matthew Goode, has noticeably been absent from the franchise since the 2019 film, with the...

The doors to Downton are opening one last time — and this time, it’s for goodbye. Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale officially premieres in theatres on September 12, and the newly released trailer invites us back into the grand halls of the Crawley estate for one final, emotional visit. After more than a decade of upstairs-downstairs drama, witty remarks, romantic entanglements, and historic milestones, it all comes down to this: one last gathering, one final bow.
Set in a new decade, the trailer wastes no time ushering viewers into a world of opulence, music, and memory. There's a sense that we’re no longer just watching a period drama — we're witnessing a slice of history, filtered through the legacy of a show that’s captivated audiences since 2010. And, of course, the halls of Downton haven’t changed a bit. The ghost of Maggie Smith’s inimitable Violet Crawley, whose legacy lingers...

Jackie Chan is an action superstar, and we love him for his death-defying stunts, coupled with impeccable comic timing. No one has mastered cross-cultural movies like him, but recently, he reflected on one of his most successful franchises and called it a bit of a misfire.
Now, Chan is not your typical Hollywood hero because his career has lasted more than five decades, with over 200 movies where he’s carved out a unique niche for himself. But it seems like even living legends like him aren’t immune to the downside of showbiz.

While Jackie Chan's Hong Kong action movies were huge overseas, it wasn't until the mid '90s when he really started to capture the attention of American audiences. It's easy to see why his magnetic presence carried over considering his stunt work was (and still is) jaw-droppingly impressive. Couple Chan's popularity with the rising star power of Chris Tucker and you have the "Rush Hour" franchise, a trilogy of globe-spanning action comedies that revitalized the buddy comedy for a new generation.
Hong Kong Chief Inspector Lee (Jackie Chan) would clash with the loud-mouthed LAPD Detective James Carter (Chris Tucker) as they found themselves getting into all sorts of explosive hijinks. A lot of the back-and-forth humor stemmed from the pair commenting on their various culture shocks, which certainly places these movies in the period in which they were made. Even with a lot of the casual racist and sexist...

Downton Abbey is going to make us emotional all over again. It is really the end of it all, as the third film in the series gives off the hint in its title, Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale. The first trailer of the film has been released, and it is clear that it will be a tear-jerking farewell to some of our favorite TV stars since 2010.
The series wrapped up in 2015 and was followed up by two films, Downton Abbey and Downton Abbey: A New Era. Midway through the series, we saw the shocking death of Dan Stevens’ Matthew Crawley, which left us devastated. It appears that the show is about to bring back those haunting memories.

Downton Abbey is one of those franchises that keeps resurfacing despite a series finale that aired in 2015.
The universe has been kept alive with a movie franchise, but the third big-screen installment will serve as its last.
At least, that’s what we’re being told for now.
(Focus Features/Screenshot)
There have been rumblings for years that Downton Abbey could return to the small screen with a limited series.
But for those who are interested in saying goodbye, the official trailer for Downton Abbey: The Grande Finale hints at every storyline concluding.
(Focus Features/Screenshot)
The first footage features a tribute to Dame Maggie Smith, who passed away in 2024.
Of course, Downton Abbey: A New Era said goodbye to Smith’s Violet Crawley, with a poignant death.

Focus Features has finally unleased the first real look at Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale, the third and final film in the movie series based on the PBS period drama created by Julian Fellowes. The film hits theaters September 12.
With some of the same footage shown to exhibitors during Focus’ presentation at CinemaCon earlier this spring, the teaser lays out the plot: the Crawley family and its staff arrive at 1930, looking to the future while saying goodbye to the past.
That includes the family’s famed Grantham Estate. At one point, the head of the family Robert Crawley (Hugh Bonneville) pays respect to the mansion that made the show famous — the real Highclere Castle in Hampshire, England — by giving it a pat and a kiss, apparently as the family says goodbye to it.

The doors of Downton Abbey are opening one final time this fall. Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale is set to premiere on September 12, and while we’re not quite ready to say goodbye, the new trailer reminds us that some farewells are worth the tears. The upcoming film brings the beloved period drama to its final chapter, and from what we’ve seen, it promises one last round of grandeur, grace, and goodbyes.
The story of the Crawleys has spanned most of the 20th century in the time that we've spent with them, and the footage welcomes us to a new decade. There’s a sense of spectacle, like we’ve left the cinema and stepped onto the stage of history itself. From there, we’re back in the hallowed halls of Downton, where a painting on the wall pays quiet tribute to Maggie Smith’s iconic Violet Crawley. Friends...
