Neve Campbell has officially announced her return to the Scream franchise, but fans are still upset over Melissa Barrera's firing.

Neve Campbell just took to social media to confirm her Scream 7 return as Sidney Prescott. Campbell previously refused to return for Scream VI after salary disputes, as the actress previously addressed the issue as not being reflective of the value she brought to the slasher franchise. However, despite the excitement around her return, fans still haven't forgotten Melissa Barrera and her firing.
