Growing up in both France and Canada, Yoan Cart is rooted in two cultures - North American and European.
After graduating in Film Production at Concordia University in Montreal in 1995, he began working as an assistant camera on feature films and documentaries. His career took him to Paris in 2002, where he developed an international network, working on co-productions as a DoP. With more than twenty years of experience, he has become familiar with all genres of documentary as well as fiction films. His sensitive and respectful approach allows him to confidently work with the actors, and to free his sense of anticipation. The right place at the right time.
