No one has shown up that is after Cane so far, but that doesn’t mean they won’t follow him to Genoa City. Will they finally catch up with him?

Why was Cane so paranoid that he called Chance to protect him? If Carter was only after Damien, who could be after Cane?...

Lily ended up in danger. Carter wanted to kill her for the sake of his boss. Cane and Billy ended up saving Lily’s life, which could lead to a steamy love triangle on The Young and the Restless.

Coming To Her Rescue

Lily (Christel Khalil) found herself in the wrong place at the wrong time. She ended up in Carter’s (Vincent Stalba) wrath, who was already on the warpath. Carter declared that he would do anything for his boss, Cane (Billy Flynn). He was groomed into thinking like that because Cane threw all the rules out of the window. On Monday, July 28th, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) is fully prepared to trade Chancellor Industries for Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), but she won’t sign the electronic documents until she sees him. Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) is trying to make it happen, but Nikki pushes to see Nick first.

Part of it is an affidavit of his innocence since he has been framed. So Amanda takes Nikki and Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman) to the storage room, but guess what? Lots of blood, no Nick. Nikki’s really mad; she won’t sign the papers. Amanda was so close to getting Chancellor for Cane.

Let’s start off with the two deaths that happen at Cane Ashby’s (Billy Flynn) estate. First, Carter pulls out a gun to kill Cane. When Chance intervenes to save Cane, he gets shot.

Kyle (Michael Mealor) confronted Audra (Zuleyka Silver) after a heated kiss on the train, accusing her of using Damian’s (Jermaine River) death as part of a scheme. Despite her denials, Kyle insisted she had failed and ended things. Meanwhile, Billy (Jason Thompson) shocked Jack (Peter Bergman) by walking away from their business deal over Abbott Communications, declaring he would find new investment – even suggesting Cane – rather than continue under Jack’s control.

Another French Death

Let’s begin with the death that happens at the chateau. Fans know that Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers) was already murdered.

Now, Carter (Vincent Stabla) has tried to hold Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) hostage.

During a scuffle in trying to escape, Nick was badly injured. Thankfully, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) saved the day.

It appears that Cane’s right-hand man wanted to eliminate Damian so a path would be open to Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). Carter seemingly concluded that taking Damian out would enable Cane’s ability to reconcile with the love of his life.

Chance Takes Charge in France

Chance (Conner Floyd) was brought to France by Cane (Billy Flynn) in order to solve the murder of who wanted to murder Cane. But Cane didn’t get murdered. Damian (Jermaine Rivers) did.

So now Chance is up! Except for the minor detail that he has no authority or jurisdiction in France. He can’t put Nick (Joshua Morrow) under arrest—or free him, either. Yet, as long as Cane put him to work, Chance might as well play detective. And he’s decided he’s going to lock down the area and institute law and order—Genoa City.
