2000’s Bring It On is a very odd duck.

It’s not that the film is particularly innovative about how it spins its narrative – there’s a pretty standard set of beats in place for a sports movie – but traditionally, sports movies don’t tend to have a predominantly female cast (and even something like A League Of Their Own was somewhat led by Tom Hanks). Not only that, it’s a movie with a predominately female cast that isn’t entirely focused on love or romance.

Following the October debut of their first episode, executive producer Idris Elba and production company Brown Paper Dolls have released the second installment of their webseries "Milk & Honey."

Starring Lance Gross, Bryce Wilson, Faune Chambers, and veteran actress Debbie Allen the scripted series follows the professional and romantic journeys of four young and ambitious women navigating the lights, smoke and mirrors of Hollywood.

"I decided to get involved with 'Milk & Honey' because of the strong demand for content that is relatable and authentic," Elba stated about his involvement with the project, "Brown Paper Dolls has an intuitive way of displaying positive images of women throughout the series."

The series also introduces Asha Kamali, Yaani King, Shauntay Hinton, Charles Divins and Rob Smith. Check out episode two above, and as an added bonus check out episode one and three exclusive character videos below.

First Look At “Milk & Honey” – New Web Series Executive Produced By Idris Elba
Here’s a first-look trailer at a new web series executive produced by Idris Elba, titled Milk & Honey, created by Brown Paper Dolls (Dana Gills, Asha Kamali May, and Jeanette McDuffie – all Chicago natives (Spelman, Howard U & Famu grads) who started the production company in La.

The series, which is headlined by Lance Gross, Debbie Allen, Faune Chambers, Bryce Wilson, and Asha Kamali, centers on 4 black women living in Los Angeles, who are on “spiritual, professional and romantic journeys to make their dreams reality.”

Brown Paper Dolls have been working on the project for “over 3 years,” and say that it will be available on all platforms, not just the web (TV, mobile and more). They describe it as “a mix between HBO’s Entourage and Sex and the City.”

Trailer – “Krews” (One Night Across The Socioeconomic Food Chain)
The film is called Krews, written and directed by Hilbert Hakim, and stars Brian Geraghty, Jonathan Cake, Faune Chambers, Sam Jones III, and Charles Malik Whitfield.

Synopsis reads: A botched car-jacking forces two white-collar criminals to take refuge in the home of the thugs that accosted them. Over the course of one explosive, unpredictable night, worlds collide, fortunes shift, lives are cast aside and the most unsuspecting of heroes walks away with a multimillion dollar score.

It’s played a handful of film festivals, including Urban World, and will be available on Netflix on November 1, via Artisan Entertainment.

'Curious Case of Benjamin Button' Star to Wed Musician Fiance
Rap mogul P. Diddy's one-time butler and manservant Fonzworth Bentley is to wed after proposing marriage to actress Faune Chambers. Bentley, who is now a musician who regularly collaborates with the members of Outkast, has revealed he popped the question at the end of 2009, but hasn't gone public with the happy news - until now.

Chambers co-starred with Brad Pitt in hit movie "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button". Bentley tells UsMagazine, "She said yes and I was so excited. Afterward, she kept wanting to call and tell her mother and I told her not to - because then we walked into a restaurant where my parents and her parents were waiting. We all had lunch and then I walked them all back to show them where I proposed. The wedding is pretty soon!"

And the couple will have Bentley's new music video for Greener as an engagement keepsake...

Fonzworth Bentley, who spruced up scrappy thugs on MTV's "From G's to Gents," is set to enter a new chapter in his own life.

The rapper and reality show mentor recently confirmed to Us Weekly that he is engaged to his girlfriend, actress Faune Chambers. "We are so excited!" the star exclaimed.

The swagger guru also gave up the details of his suave proposal to the magazine's website. While he's known for drilling gentlemanly qualities like honesty and forthrightness into his "G's" recruits, Bentley copped to deceiving his lady love about when he would pop the question.
