Todd Chrisley has said the reason he and his wife, Julie Chrisley, were convicted of bank and tax fraud was because there weren’t any “multimillionaires” on the jury. The reality TV couple and their daughter, Savannah Chrisley, recently sat down with Juju Chang for an ABC News Studios special, which aired on Sunday (June 29) on Hulu and Disney+ and again on Monday (June 30) on Good Morning America. During the interview, Chang brought up how Todd and Julie were convicted by “a jury of your peers” and many feel like they “didn’t serve their time.” In 2022, Todd and Julie were convicted of defrauding banks of at least $30 million and sentenced to a combined 19 years in federal prison. Todd was sentenced to 12 years at Fpc Pensacola, while Julie was given a seven-year sentence at Fmc Lexington. They were released from prison on Wednesday, May 28, after being pardoned by President Donald Trump.

Savannah Chrisley is sharing her ideas for the future following her parents’ release from prison.

The 27-year-old reality TV star appeared alongside her parents on the The Chrisleys: Life After Lockup special from Impact x Dateline. During the special, the family discussed parents Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley‘s experience in prison.

According to Savannah, the experience has inspired her to get more involved – and possibly get into politics.

As ABC’s “Nightline” hits its 45th anniversary this month, the show is bringing back an updated version of its old logo. Having gone with an all-lowercase “nightline” since 2017, a new take on the show’s all-caps “Nightline” that had been in use between 1997 and 2017 will now be introduced. According to ABC News, the new logo “honors its iconic legacy, blending elements from its original look with an updated, modern design.”

The change happens as ABC News celebrates the “Nightline” 45th anniversary on March 24 (12:35 a.m. Et) with a special episode, featuring all-new interviews with original anchor Ted Koppel, as well as previous anchors Terry Moran, Dan Harris, Cynthia McFadden, Bill Weir and Dan Abrams.
