Are trailers really doing their job of selling the movies they're trailers of?

NextMovie seeks to answer this question with its new video show, "Trailer Talk," a candid and critical look at the art (and commerce) of the movie trailer in the Internet age. "Trailer Talk" is hosted by Pop17's Sarah Austin, who presents a specific trailer to a group of friends and Internet celebrities -- including Hermione Way, Tina Hui, Anastasia Emmanuel, Michael Butler, Eddie da Roza and Chloe Nicholls -- and asks a series of questions to determine whether the trailer was enough to convince them to power down their laptops and actually go see the movie when it's released to theaters.

Kate Middleton Shops For Groceries To Make Dinner For Prince William!
Kate went to her local supermarket and picked up a bottle of wine along with some other delicious items — perhaps the makings of a romantic dinner for two?

Kate Middleton may be royalty, but she loves the simple life. The Duchess of Cambridge stopped by Tesco, her go-to grocery store in Anglesey, Wales on Aug. 1 and a source tells HollywoodLife.com that Kate did a “brief shopping” and was “lovely” while talking with employees.

“Kate bought raw salmon at the deli counter and some wine,” the source says. “She was stunning, and lovely to talk to. When the employees realized who they were talking to they were thrilled! Everyone was buzzing.”

Kate did her shopping looking effortlessly casual-chic in a pair of jeans, purple cardigan, checkered scarf and black flats.

Our source adds that Kate didn’t forget about the most important meal of the day — breakfast!

Clint Eastwood drives to the top of the box office with Gran Torino; Ewan McGregor is Pierce Brosnan’s Ghost; Sienna Miller will not be visiting Nottingham; Morricone is not a Basterd; Moore, Neeson and Seyfried know Chloe; the Joker may have the last laugh in Batman 3 and Farrell, Weir and Harris are on their Way Back.

Box Office

Clint Eastwood showed his star power by capturing the number one position at the box office with a fantastic $30 million gross for Gran Torino. Clint’s Oscar touted movie was making good bank on limited release but it looks like the American masses love the ageing action icon. The film should have good legs and a final gross of $100 million is not out of the question.

Bride Wars should claim the runner-up position with about $20 million showing that women will watch Anne Hathaway...
