In a creative partnership with streaming giant Netflix, Yash Raj Films is gearing up for another web series following the success of The Railway Men. In the dark mystery thriller genre, Yrf brings up Mandala Murders, set to premiere this July. The show has a powerhouse cast, including Vaani Kapoor and Surveen Chawla in the lead roles. The show is touted to be a first-of-its-kind mythological-crime thriller that promises to pull audiences into a world where every clue leads deeper into a long-buried prophecy.

It is set in the eerie stillness of a town called Charandaspur and will air on July 25, 2025. Mumbai, April 23 (Ians) The prayer meet in the memory of screenwriter-singer Pamela Chopra — the mother of Aditya and Uday Chopra, and wife of legendary filmmaker Yash Chopra — was held on Sunday at the Yash Raj Studios in the Andheri area of Mumbai.

Many eminent personalities of the Hindi film industry attended the prayer meet.

Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Dimple Kapadia, Karan Johar, Vicky Kaushal, Priety Zinta, Zoya Akhtar, Abhishek Bachchan, and Aditya Roy Kapur were all seen arriving at the meet to be with the Chopra family.

Salman Khan, who’s been receiving death threats from Lawrence Bishnoi gang members, arrived surrounded by heavy security.

Singer-writer-producer Pamela Chopra, who was the wife of filmmaker Yash Chopra, passed away on Thursday at the age of 74 after battling prolonged illness.

She was last seen in the streaming documentary ‘The Romantics’ in which she recollected the journey of her husband Yash Chopra and how the production transformed into a film conglomerate over the years. The documentary focused on the contributions made by Pamela to the studio and how she was the spine of Yrf having excellent people skills in addition to her craft of singing and writing.

The Hindi film industry mourned the loss of Chopra as several film personalities took to their social media to mourn her loss.

Screenwriting legend Javed Akhtar of the duo Salim-Javed, took to Twitter and offered his condolences to the grieving family. He tweeted: “Today Pam ji, the better half of Shri Yash Chopra, has passed away. She was a great lady.

“With heavy hearts, the Chopra family would like to inform that Pamela Chopra, 74, passed away this morning. Her cremation took place at 11 a.m. today in Mumbai,” said the family statement.

As the seven-phase Lok Sabha elections began on Thursday, the government hinged on Shah Rukh Khan's star power to exhort the electorate to exercise their franchise in the maximum numbers. The Press Information Bureau (Pib), the publicity arm of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, used stills from Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Mohabbatein to send out the message emphasizing the importance of voting in a democracy to build a better future.

The Pib posted on its Twitter handle a montage of three visuals from a scene featuring Shah Rukh, Uday Chopra, Jugal Hansraj and Jimmy Sheirgill along with the message, "Aaj election ka phela phase hai... Tumhara aaj ek ek vote se desh ka kal badlega...Go Vote (Today is the first phase of elections. Every vote counts and each vote could change the course of the Nation. Go vote)."

It added, "Ballot is a power, distributed equally among all Indians.

It’s about an obsessive but balanced medical examiner who is investigating a deceptive serial killer, set in the world of alien abductions and centres on a medical examiner hunting down the serial killer who is committing crimes in the alien abductee community.

Filmmaker James Mangold ("The Wolverine") is attached to direct "Seducing Ingrid Bergman," a film whose script by Arash Amel made last year's Black List.

Based on Chris Greenhalgh's book of the same title, the story follows the torrid, life-changing romance between the "Casablanca" actress and celebrated war photographer Robert Capa that ignited in Paris after WWII.

Bergman was denounced by the U.S. Senate following public revelation of her her affair with director Roberto Rossellini. Capa has his own issues of gambling and alcoholism, but the pair ultimately found an awakening and liberation together.
