Adrian Anchondo Praised By Gh Fans For Raw Honesty
Image
General Hospital star Adrian Anchondo (Marco Rios) got a lot of praise from ABC fans when he opened up to Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos) on Sunday’s State of Mind podcast this weekend. New to the show as the son of mobster Gennaro Sidwell, he’s also well-known from other shows like NCIS: Los Angeles and Law & Order: Organized Crime.

Revealing Psychic Sensitivity?

As usual with Maurice, the two men discussed his life growing up, and he mentioned a nasty earthquake that he experienced as a child. However, the conversation soon moved on to talk about anxiety, the fear of failure as an actor, and something else that seemed rather interesting.

Maurice and Adrian bonded over mental health struggles – State of Mind – YouTube

It was a long conversation, but his empathic side came through. Did you know that he’s so sensitive to others, that he almost feels like...

General Hospital Specs: Nikolas Cassadine Getting Recast
Image
There’s heavy speculation amongst General Hospital fans that Nikolas Cassadine might be coming back on the canvas. Or at least, that’s what they want to see as a lot of viewers of the show believe it’s high time that Nikolas came back to Port Charles.

General Hospital Specs: Nikolas Cassadine Getting Recast

That, and they also think that another alpha male to go toe to toe with Sonny or Drew would be the perfect dramatic storyline that the soap desperately needs right now.

But whether or not the producers of General Hospital actually do recast the character with someone new is what a lot of people can’t help but wonder. After all, there’s no replacing the once and only Tyler Christopher.

Of course, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter.

Some even commented with, “I agree but it is a very hard part to recast.

Britt Westbourne Stole One Of Lulu And Dante’s Embryos And Implanted It In Herself

This part is true-Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) did steal one of Lulu and Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) embryos and implant it in herself. She wanted a baby in order to try and get Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson) who she’d seduced, to do the right thing and marry her.

But it didn’t work, Patrick fell in love with someone else and eventually Robin Scorpio-Drake (Kimberly McCullough) returned to Port Charles alive, stopping his wedding.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Brook Lynn Reveals Britt Gave Birth To Rocco And “Gives Lulu A Taste Of Her Own Medicine”
Image
‘General Hospital’ (Gh) spoilers suggest that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) is poised to reveal that Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Breuning) is keeping a massive secret from Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr).

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Brook Lynn Knows Britt Gave Birth To Rocco

Lulu was up on her high horse with Brook Lynn in the June 16th episode of Gh as she claimed she would never lie to her children. Lulu was self-righteous and judgmental, and we cheered when Brook Lynn slapped her.

Since Lulu has no compassion for Brook Lynn and the heartbreaking family situation Lulu caused, Brook Lynn plans to “Give Lulu a taste of her own medicine.”

When Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) first arrived in Port Charles, she was obsessed with Dr. Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson), and Britt’s mother, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), encouraged her to trap Patrick with a baby.

Britt was implanted with Lulu and...

Image

Will General Hospital Have A Teen Scene Summer?
Image
It’s almost that time of the year on General Hospital. The weather is getting warmer and pretty soon the Metro Court pool will be open. Will the latest batch of teenagers be hanging out there and dealing with new drama?

The Good Old Days

Gh has always done a good job of representing teenage soap stories. There was the original foursome of Lucky (Jonathan Jackson), Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst), Emily (ex-Amber Tamblyn), and Nikolas (the late Tyler Christopher). This group brought the teen angst and gave us first loves and real friendships. Port Charles also had a heartbreaking storyline with teens Robin (ex-Kimberly McCullough) and Stone (ex-Michael Sutton).

The most recent group centered around Josslyn (Eden McCoy) and Trina (Tabyana Ali). The boys in their group were originally Oscar (ex-Garren Stitt) and Cameron (ex-William Lipton). After Oscar’s tragic death, they added Dev (ex-Ashton Arbab), who also died,...

Francisco San Martin played Dario Hernandez on Days of Our Lives. If you don’t remember, that was Gabi Hernandez‘s (Cherie Jimenez) brother. Francisco San Martin originated the role in 2011.

And it was later taken over by Jordi Vilasuso. After Francisco’s stint on Days of Our Lives, he got a gig on The Bold and the Beautiful. And then he got to be on the hit Prime Time series Jane the Virgin.

That was a very good show, but then, out of nowhere, on January 16th, 2025, tragedy struck, and the ex-Dario actor took his own life.

Remembering General Hospital’s Young Adults When They Were Children
Image
General Hospital has adult romance, young adult romance, and even teen romance, but we rarely see childhood romance on the soap. The exception was the Spencer, Emma, Cameron, and Josslyn love quadrangle.

Young Love

When the foursome of Spencer (then Nicolas Bechtel), Emma (then Brooklyn Rae Silzer), Cameron (then Michael Leone), and Josslyn (then Hannah Nordberg) were elementary school age, there was fierce competition for boyfriend/girlfriend status. It was adorable.

Spencer and Cam were both in love with Emma. They each used their charms to win her affection. Although the young Cassadine wined and dined her, she chose Cameron for his caring and sweetness. But it didn’t end there. The precocious Spencer still tried to woo her away from his friend, so he used Josslyn to make her jealous. Joss was happy to oblige because she was in love with Cam. A dinner was arranged for the foursome.

Image
Lucky is the son of General Hospital royalty Luke and Laura. He was away from Port Charles for years and fans have been hoping for his return home. It finally happened and…nothing.

He’s Baaack!!

Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) came to Port Charles as a kid and grew up in front of our eyes. He had an adventurous childhood with Luke (Anthony Geary) and Laura (Genie Francis) as parents. Young Lucky had one of Gh’s best teen love stories with Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst), became close with his brother Nikolas (then Tyler Christopher), and was, of course, held hostage by the evil Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers). As he got older, he became a police officer, married Liz more than once, suffered from a drug problem, and had an affair with Maxie (Kirsten Storms).

Lucky left Port Charles in 2011 and briefly returned in 2015. He has been away since then doing volunteer work in Africa.

Why Brandon Barash Should Return To General Hospital Asap
Image
As the shocking news of Brandon Barash’s Days of our Lives exit settles across Salem, here’s why his old stomping grounds of General Hospital should scoop him back up, and fast.

Barash’s History

Barash started out on daytime when he joined Gh in 2007 as Johnny, the son of Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) mob nemesis Anthony (Bruce Weitz) – or so they thought. After memorable relationships with characters like Lulu, Carly (Laura Wright), and Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) and finding out his actual parents were Gino (Joseph Sirola) and the woman he believed was his sister, he was sent to Pentonville after taking the fall for a crime Lulu committed, prompting Barash’s 2016 exit.

In 2019, Barash arrived in Salem when he took on the role of Stefan (previously played by the late Gh star Tyler Christopher). Barash joined a list of Days actors to play more than one character when...

Days of our Lives star Brandon Barash out as Stefan When is his final airdate?
Days of Our Lives (1965)
Days of our Lives star Brandon Barash has exited the role of Stefan Dimera on the hit Peacock soap.

Brandon was let go from the Days despite still being on contract with the show.

Once again, Stefan will be exiting the canvas, and we are losing Brandon’s stellar on-screen talent.

The Days of our Lives Twist That Could Put Two Fired General Hospital Actors Back To Work
Image
With so many beloved Salemites returning to Days of our Lives soon, there’s another forgotten couple who could see two familiar faces from Port Charles head to Salem.

Bye Port Charles

General Hospital recently said goodbye to Michael Easton after Finn entered a three-month stint in rehab to help his alcohol addiction. While the character has often been mentioned by his family and friends, there’s been no word on if or when he may return home.

Then there’s Kelly Monaco, who after 21 years playing Sam, will soon be exiting the soap after Gh let her go despite her fans’ creative endeavors to keep her on the show.

Always A Supercouple

Several General Hospital characters have needed Steven Webber to come back to Port Charles. Last seen in 2013, Memphis police arrested Steven and sent him to prison in Tennessee for killing a comatose prisoner so their heart could save a little girl’s life. Recently, his sister Elizabeth mentioned that he’d been released from prison, and now Reeves is finally reprising his fan-favorite role.

Returning Was Bittersweet

Reeves is finally returning to Port Charles and spoke to TV Insider about what he was feeling upon arrival. “I’ve been doing other things, but this was like putting on a really, really comfortable pair of jeans,” he stated. He found his reprisal to be “bittersweet” because of all the life changes everyone has gone through since he was last on the show, including himself. Plus, the fact that several people related to the show including Sonya Eddy (Epiphany) and Tyler Christopher (Nikolas) had passed away,...

Lucky And Elizabeth: A Look Back At This General Hospital Supercouple’s Romance
Image
Before Lucky and Elizabeth officially reunite this week on General Hospital, let’s take a look back at the romance that dubbed the supercouple “LL2.”

Teenage Dream

Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) first met outside Kelly’s Diner (now known as Bobbie’s) in 1997. It was love at first sight for Elizabeth, but Lucky was more drawn to her sister, Sarah (ex-Jennifer Sky). It wasn’t until the following Valentine’s Day when Elizabeth was attacked and Lucky found her, forever securing their bond.

A romantic dance in the park and a guitar serenade later, LL2 was born, and often double dated alongside the other half of “The Four Musketeers,” Nikolas (ex-Tyler Christopher) and Emily (ex-Amber Tamblyn). By Valentine’s Day 1999, the couple were exchanging vows in a church as an act of commitment to each other.

Gh’s Adam Huss Talks A Conversation He Had With Tyler Christopher Before He Passed
General (2019)
General Hospital (Gh) spoilers suggest that even though Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) is in prison, now that Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) is on the cusp of waking up, something tells fans that they may be seeing more and more of him in the weeks and months to come.

Adam Huss talked about the other two Niks during Maurice Benard’s (Sonny Corinthos) State of Mind podcast, including a conversation he had with Tyler Christopher right before he passed away.

General Hospital Spoilers – Gh’s Adam Huss On “Overlapping Scenes” With Marcus Coloma

General Hospital spoilers remind fans that Huss entered the Nikolas Cassadine character in 2021-2022 to fill for actor Marcus Coloma, eventually taking it over in early 2023, and has been in a recurring role.

Huss first talked to Benard about how he met Coloma on the Gh set as their scenes overlapped. He adds he “felt terrible” and that...

Here’s How Tyler Christopher Inspired General Hospital’s Adam Huss
Image
Adam Huss had some big shoes to fill when he took over the role of Nikolas Cassadine on General Hospital. Before him, Marcus Coloma played the Cassadine scion, and even before him was Tyler Christopher, who originated the part. Much like the previous actors, Huss has won the viewers over and opened up about Christopher’s inspiration.

Christopher’s Not Forgotten

It was a tragic day for Gh fans on October 31, 2023, when Christopher died from positional asphyxia because of acute alcohol intoxication (via People). Viewers had been holding out hope that he would return to the role, but sadly, that would never happen. Huss recently explained how Christopher’s performance over the years inspired him to take on the daunting task of playing Nikolas.

A guest on Maurice Benard’s (Sonny) YouTube interview series, State of Mind, Huss gushed: “I love it so much. I love being in there, and I also respect…...

‘Gh’: Adam Huss Shares Last Conversation With Tyler Christopher
Image
Tyler Christopher originated the role of Nikolas Cassadine on General Hospital in 1996. It was one of his first acting roles, but he fit the character perfectly, and fans loved him. He played the role off and on until he left the show for good in 2016. Several other actors played Nikolas when Tyler Christopher was off the show. The actor went on to join Days Of Our Lives in 2017 as Stefan Dimera but abruptly left two years later.

Gh fans hoped the actor would return as Nikolas but he never did. Tyler Christopher sadly passed away in October 2023 at the age of 50. His official cause of death was positional asphyxia due to acute alcohol intoxication. The actor battled alcohol addiction for years before his death.

The Eugene Levy-Hosted Emmys Somehow Excluded His ‘Sctv’ Co-Star From the In Memoriam Segment
Image
The 75th Primetime Emmy Awards may be over, but complaining about the Emmy Awards is only just beginning.

It’s not uncommon for awards ceremonies’ In Memoriam segments, which honor deceased members of the industry, to tick off viewers. Such as how this year’s Oscars ceremony controversially lumped together a bunch of illegible names in the final moments of the In Memoriam, and also featured a “distracting” interpretive dance number.

Last night’s Emmys’ In Memoriam paid homage to late TV stars like Bob Newhart, Richard Simmons and Shannen Doherty, but it also omitted some major names. Some were confused as to why Matthew Perry didn’t appear, forgetting that this was actually the second Emmy ceremony of the year. Perry was honored during the delayed 74th Emmys, which aired back in January.

But the Emmys are now taking heat for leaving out some notable figures, including Erica Ash,...

Emmys: Shelley Duvall Omitted From In Memoriam Segment
Image
The “In Memoriam” segment of the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday paid tribute to a host of small-screen stars who have died in the past year, but users on social media were quick to point out the notable names that did not make the montage.

The poignant segment saw rapper Jelly Roll say a few words before performing his 2024 song “I Am Not Okay” as a montage of late stars was shown inside the Peacock Theater and on television. Among those included in the segment were Donald Sutherland, James Earl Jones, Martin Mull, Richard Lewis, Richard Simmons, Shannen Doherty, Gena Rowlands, Chance Perdomo and Carl Weathers.

There was general confusion online in some quarters due to the omission of Friends star Matthew Perry, who died Oct. 28, 2023 at 54. Perry’s absence was explained by the Television Academy paying a special tribute to the actor at the 74th edition of the Emmys held in January,...

Disgruntled Fans React as Shelley Duvall Missing From Emmys In Memoriam
Image
The In Memoriam section of the 2024 Emmys paid tribute to some of the most beloved performers and creatives we've lost this year, but former Emmy-nominee, Shelley Duvall was missing from the list. Amid the celebrations, as our favorite shows are recognized by other industry veterans for their achievement, the In Memoriam section puts a pause on the festivities as we all take a moment to remember our favorite actors, directors, and writers, who have passed away this year. With a live performance of "I Am Not Okay" by Jelly Roll, this year's segment was particularly emotional. Some of the names featured in the section included Richard Simmons, Shannen Doherty, James Earl Jones, the recently deceased James Earl Jones, and the young Gen V star Chance Perdomo. However, Duvall, and some other notable names were absent from the commemoration.

Best known for her performance in The Shining, Duvall was actually nominated...

General Hospital’s Adam Huss Reflects On Nikolas Actors Who Came Before Him
Image
In an interview with a fellow General Hospital star, Adam Huss discussed his experiences with the actors who played Nikolas before him, including the late Tyler Christopher.

Respect And Honor

On his debut episode of State of Mind, Huss shared with co-star Maurice Benard how he met the actors who played Nikolas before him. “I respect who I’m taking over for.”

The actor delved into his first run-in with Marcus Coloma, who Huss took over for in 2023. “I met Marcus while I was shooting because we overlapped. Felt terrible,” he admitted before referring to Coloma as “so kind.”

Read This: Here’s the Gh Fall Preview.

As for the late Tyler Christopher, who originated the role of Nikolas in 1994 and passed away in 2023, Huss had a cool story to tell. “I never got to meet Tyler officially,” he noted before telling the story of how a journalist they both...

What Happened To Lucky Spencer On General Hospital?
Image
Lucky Spencer has certainly lived up to his name over the years on General Hospital. Lucky, the offspring of the legendary Luke and Laura, wasn’t born on screen, but we saw him when the dynamic couple returned to the show in 1993. The character originated by Jonathan Jackson, who grew up before us. Jacob Young later portrayed him from 2000 to 2003, and then by Greg Vaughan from 2003 to 2009. With Jackson’s return to Gh, it’s time we looked at what Lucky was up to over the years.

Childhood on the Run

Luke (Anthony Geary) and Laura (Genie Francis) had been on the run from evil mobster Frank Smith (then Mitchell Ryan), during which time they had Lucky. After Frank’s goons caught up to them in Canada, the couple sent their son off to Port Charles for safety while they lured the minions off of his trail. Luke’s aunt...

Here’s Why Nikolas Needs To Return To General Hospital
Image
With the impending recast of Lulu on General Hospital, it seems only natural that there would be complications. Sure enough, on the August 20 episode, it was revealed that her liver is failing. Liver transplants are commonplace, and considering Jonathan Jackson is returning as her brother, Lucky, he might be able to donate part of his liver to save her life. However, that’s most likely not the case, and her other brother may have to come to the rescue.

Could History Repeat Itself?

When Lulu was a little kid, she was diagnosed with aplastic anemia, which required a bone marrow transplant. Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) was not a viable match, so from out of the woodwork came their unknown other sibling, Nikolas (then Tyler Christopher), the long-lost son of their mother, Laura (Genie Francis). His arrival in town saved Lulu’s life, but his existence tore Luke (Anthony Geary) and Laura apart.

General Hospital viewers were sad to learn that although Nicholas Alexander Chavez’s leave was temporary, it was made permanent.

She was backburnered while Nicholas was filming a Ryan Murphy show about the Menendez brothers, but it seems the General Hospital writers are ready to use her again.

The young adult scene has dwindled over the years. It was once a huge part of the show, especially when Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst), Lucky (Jonathan Jackson), Nikolas (Tyler Christopher), and Emily (Natalia Livingston) were a part of the show.
