Roger Christian, in addition to appearing in several films, was a prominent radio personality in Los Angeles from the 1960s to the 1980s, and a well-known songwriter (primarily as lyricist) who co-wrote a number of songs for The Beach Boys and Jan & Dean. Among the many stations he worked for, were KRLA, KFWB, KHJ (one of the original "Boss Jocks" in 1965), KBLA, KGBS, KDAY and KRTH-FM. His lucrative songwriting career contributed such rock classics as "Surf City", "Little Old Lady from Pasadena", "Don't Worry Baby", and many more.
