Days of Our Lives sees Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) is really anxious about the publication of her steamy romance novel, One Stormy Night. But she’s also scared that a nutty ex is going to come for her if that guy realizes the book has parts about him in it. And it seems like that ex might be Jeremy Horton (Trevor Donovan).
But Stephanie trusted her boyfriend, Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson), to take out a particular passage from the book that was very autobiographical, something she thought Jeremy might see and be triggered by. Obviously, Stephanie’s worried her abusive ex-boyfriend might see this.
So, I’m just wondering if Salem’s former bad boy Jeremy, is going to return to get a signed copy of the sexy book or to do something really, really bad to his ex. We’re going to dive into what happens when Stephanie...

Denise Alexander, who performed in thousands of radio episodes and on The Twilight Zone as a youngster before starring in two long stints as Dr. Lesley Webber on General Hospital, has died. She was 85.
Alexander died March 5 of natural causes at the home of a nephew in Boulder, Colorado, her stepson, Anthony Colla, told The Hollywood Reporter.
The daughter of a talent agent, Alexander had spent more than six years playing Susan Hunter Martin on NBC’s Days of Our Lives — she began in 1966 while in college — when G.H. producers at ABC heard that her contract had lapsed and began an “offer you can’t refuse situation,” she recalled in a 2010 interview for the website I Love Soaps.

From its humble beginnings as a passion project made by director Michael Duignan and a group of dedicated Kiwi collaborators, The Paragon takes audiences on a quirkily delightful adventure. Working with a tiny budget of only $15,000 US dollars, the film never lets its financial limitations hold back its boundless imagination.
We’re introduced to Dutch, a grumpy ex-tennis pro nursing resentment after a hit-and-run accident destroyed his career. Seeking vengeance, he joins forces with mystical seer Lyra to learn psychic abilities and track down the elusive vehicle. But far greater forces are at work—Lyra is in a battle with her evil brother Haxan, who aims to control an all-powerful crystal. The fate of the universe hangs in the balance, whether Dutch cares to notice or not.

In 1973, Suzanne Rogers debuted on Days of our Lives as Maggie Simmons, an orphaned young farm woman, who was crippled. She became the love interest of amnesiac Mickey Horton (John Clarke) and, later, his wife. Over the decades, Maggie regained her ability to walk unassisted, lost custody of one daughter, adopted another, and gave birth to yet another. Also, she discovered a son she never knew she had in Daniel (Shawn Christian). Rogers won the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 1978, the inaugural year of category. The actress left Days in 1984 after being diagnosed with myasthenia gravis, a chronic autoimmune, neuromuscular condition that Lucious Lyon (Terrence Howard) also had on Empire. Rogers returned to Days a year later. In 2003, she fell victim to a cast purge when yet another serial killer swept through Salem. Also, fortunately, Maggie and all the ...

One Days of Our Lives star has made history with her 5,000th episode. The soap opera, which began airing in 1965, is one of the longest-running scripted programs in television history. Although its characters and storylines have expanded and contracted over the years, it has largely focused on the interpersonal dramas of the Brady and Horton families in the fictional town of Salem, Illinois.
As reported by Deadline, star Deidre Hall just celebrated her 5,000th episode on May 12 with a storyline where her character Dr. Marlena Evans celebrated helping 5,000 patients. The actor has been the longest-running cast member of Days of Our Lives for quite some time, with second place going to Kristian Alfonso as Hope Brady (who was played as a young woman by That '70s Show star Mila Kunis) trailing behind Hall with over 4,000 episodes. However, this achievement also makes Hall the longest-running actor in soap opera history.

Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan is ending with season 4, meaning it's the last chance for another major figure from the books to appear. While Jack Ryan has changed actors nearly as often as James Bond, the key difference is that Jack used to swap faces in almost every outing. On the big screen, only Harrison Ford has played the CIA analyst more than once, but with Amazon's Jack Ryan, John Krasinski has been given multiple seasons to make his mark on Clancy's most famous hero. While Jack Ryan will end with its upcoming fourth series, a spinoff fronted by Michael Peña is currently in the works.
One figure whose been noticeably absent from Jack Ryan is John Clark. Readers of Clancy's so-called "Ryanverse" will know Clark well, with the former Seal being the brawn to Ryan's brain in many novels, including Clear And Present Danger or The Sum Of All Fears...

Who's your favorite Jack Ryan? For author Tom Clancy, who created the Ryanverse and wrote or co-wrote 17 novels set within it, it wasn't Harrison Ford.
The Jack Ryan role has changed hands five times onscreen; Alec Baldwin first played the character in "The Hunt for Red October" in 1990, before Ford took over and delivered the one-two punch of "Patriot Games" and "Clear and Present Danger" in 1992 and 1994. After Ford vacated the role, a succession of younger actors — Ben Affleck, Chris Pine, and John Krasinski — would appear as the titular CIA analyst in the movies "The Sum of All Fears" and "Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit," as well as the Prime Video series "Jack Ryan."
It seems "younger" was what Clancy always had in mind. According to Indiewire, Ford was director John McTiernan's first choice to play Jack Ryan in "The Hunt for Red October." However, in a 2002 interview with film...

Michael B. Jordan's Rainbow Six movie is the perfect opportunity to bring back Harrison Ford's Jack Ryan. Tom Clancy creation Ryan has been billed as something of an American everyman version of James Bond. That descriptor shouldn't imply Ryan hasn't been involved in his share of dangerous/potentially world-ending events though. Ryan's fortunes in live-action have been somewhat mixed because despite none of his movies being outright flops, audiences don't have a definitive version of the CIA analyst in mind. Jack Ryan has been played by Alec Baldwin, Chris Pine, Ben Affleck and Harrison Ford.
By virtue of being the only actor to play Ryan twice on the big screen, he's the one most associated with the part. The character of Ryan was notably absent from 2021's Without Remorse, which was a spinoff focusing on Michael B. Jordan's former Navy Seal John Clark seeking revenge for his wife's murder.

Paramount’s high-flying adaptation of Tom Clancy novel Rainbow Six has found its writers.
Daniel Fajemisin-Duncan and Marlon Smith, who co-created the 2013 British crime drama Run, has been tapped to write the action thriller that has Michael B. Jordan starring and Chad Stahelski directing.
In addition to staring, Jordan is producing with Elizabeth Raposo via the duo’s Outlier Society banner. Also producing are Akiva Goldsman and Greg Lessans via Weed Road Pictures as well as Josh Appelbaum and Andre Nemec through The Saw Mill.
The feature project is a follow-up to Jordan’s 2021 action vehicle, Without Remorse, with the actor once again playing Navy Seal-turned-CIA operative John Clark. One of Clancy’s more popular characters, Clark appeared in the late author’s Jack Ryan spy books and also headlined two novels, Without Remorse and Rainbow Six, with the latter spawning a line of video games.

Aside from having his name put on many video games, military fiction mainstay Tom Clancy is known for creating Jack Ryan. Starring in more than 30 novels, Jack is the ultimate defender of American interests and values who uses his deep understanding of politics to save the day.
The character returned in Amazon’s Jack Ryan, but it's a unique Clancy adaptation that doesn’t adapt any of his books. Back in 2018, when we first learned that Michael B. Jordan would be playing Tom Clancy character John Clark in a movie based on Without Remorse, there was talk that the development schedule also included another big Clark-featuring novel, Rainbow Six. Paramount is now pressing ahead with the follow-up film, and Chad Stahelski is now on board to direct Jordan in the project.
Rainbow Six sees Clark commanding a multi-country anti-terrorist squad and facing off against a huge conspiracy plotting to wipe out most of humanity for the sake of the planet. But we don't yet know how much of the story will port over to the new film. Without Remorse made some changes, so we'd expect that to carry over.
And unlike Remorse, Paramount is currently thinking that Rainbow Six will hit cinemas. Quite when is anyone's guess, but according to The Hollywood Reporter, this could well be Stahelski's next film.

Michael B. Jordan's Rainbow Six movie officially moves forward after getting John Wick director Chad Stahelski. Paramount announced plans for a new action franchise starring Michael B. Jordan a few years ago that would see him play John Clark, a character made famous through Tom Clancy's books and future video game adaptations. Without Remorse was released on Prime Video in 2021 due to Paramount's concerns about the pandemic negatively impacting the film's box office potential. It was envisioned to be the first of two movies starring Michael B. Jordan's John Clark, with plans for a Rainbow Six sequel in the works from early on.

The next big Tom Clancy adaptation has found its director. Chad Stahleski, director and stunt coordinator best known for helming all three "John Wick" movies plus the upcoming sequel, has signed on to direct "Rainbow Six" according to The Hollywood Reporter. "Rainbow Six" is set to be the second Clancy adaptation starring Michael B. Jordan, after 2021's "Without Remorse."
Action-savvy filmmaker Stahleski's participation should hopefully breathe some life into a franchise that so far hasn't made the impact one might expect from the "Ryanverse," Clancy's extensive literary world that features Jack Ryan along with Jordan's character, John Clark. "Without Remorse" was originally scheduled for a theatrical release, but ended up moving to Prime Video, where it failed to stand out in a sea of political thrillers and action-heavy shows. In /Film's review, Josh Spiegel called the first film "a bland throwback to the late 1980s and early 1990s," with a "uniformly pedestrian script.

It has taken years to make, but it appears that Tom Clancy’s “Rainbow Six” is finally moving toward production as a feature film. With the prequel, “Without Remorse,” doing seemingly good business for Paramount and Amazon when it was released in 2021, the sequel film not only sees the return of Michael B. Jordan as John Clark, a counterterrorism expert and overall badass, but it also serves as filmmaker Chad Stahelski’s introduction into the Clancyverse franchise.

Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan season 3 continued the franchise's philosophy of having the titular character's intelligence be central to his personality, but only one screen iteration of the five to date can be considered the smartest. Although Jack Ryan seasons 1 through 3 had Ryan (John Krasinski) facing various missions mirroring those confronted by the CIA analyst in Tom Clancy’s books, previous adaptations of Clancy’s novels proved more faithful to the original material. However, all Ryan versions across film and TV brought to life a different part of the character, becoming iconic in their way.
Before reaching the small screen with Amazon Prime's Jack Ryan, the analyst appeared in various spy thrillers that adapted Clancy’s earliest novels for cinema audiences. Alec Baldwin’s version of Jack Ryan was the first, in 1990’s The Hunt for Red October, introducing audiences...

Warning: Contains Spoilers for Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan!
Mike November, played by Michael Kelly, is one of the most popular characters in Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan - but did the author actually create him? The Amazon Prime series is considered one of the best adaptations of Tom Clancy's most popular character, with actor John Krasinski playing the titular role throughout the series' three seasons. Mike November first debuted in season 2 of Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan, and the character's prominence throughout seasons 2 and 3 have led some viewers to wonder if he is from Tom Clancy's books.
Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan follows the titular ex-Marine on various missions as a CIA analyst, many of which are in the same vein as other popular adaptations of the beloved character. Season 1 follows Jack Ryan as he uncovers a terrorist ring while investigating fraudulent bank transfers, while Jack Ryan season 2 follows Ryan investigating weapons dealings between Venezuela and Russia.

Warning: Spoilers for Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan Season 3Jack Ryan (John Krasinski) sees plenty of action in Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan season 3, and one of his missions subtly hints at the upcoming reported spinoff, Rainbow Six, which will star Michael Peña as another Clancy hero, Domingo "Ding" Chavez. In season 3, Jack Ryan is on the run after uncovering a Russian plan to use a nuclear weapon to start a war with the United States, as well as stage a coup against the Russian government. Jack calls upon James Greer (Wendell Pierce) and Mike November (Michael Kelly) for backup as the CIA chases him around Europe.

The announcement that a Jack Ryan spinoff is currently in the works could mean an adaptation of the iconic Rainbow Six could be on its way. After it was revealed (via Deadline) that the Amazon series would end after season 4, it was also confirmed that Michael Peña would lead a spinoff as Domingo ‘Ding’ Chavez. The character has played a major role in dozens of Tom Clancy novels and has partnered with both Ryan and John Clark several times. Peña is set to appear as Chavez in the third season, alongside John Krasinski as Ryan, and his inclusion hints at the potential future of this iteration of the Ryanverse.

Many TV legends and contributors were included for the “In Memoriam” segment on Sunday’s Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony for ABC. But producers are always forced to omit some of the 100+ insiders who died since the last ceremony. Who was left out of the group that was honored?
With dozens of television veterans having died since last year’s mid-September ceremony, people certainly included were these six TV Academy Hall of Fame members:
Diahann Carroll
Leonard Goldberg (executive at 20th Century Fox and ABC; producer of “Charlie’s Angels” and more)
Jim Lehrer (anchor/reporter of “MacNeil/Lehrer NewsHour)
Regis Philbin
Carl Reiner
Fred Silverman

Days of Our Lives is not going anywhere. The network has renewed its longest-running series for a 56th season, I have learned. I hear Days executive producer Ken Corday of Corday Prods., which produces the daytime drama, just delivered the news to the cast.
NBC and Sony TV had no comment. though I had been hearing for the lastpweek or so that renewal was “looking good.” According to sources, the deal with the network is not completely done but is close.
The pickup comes 10 days after word got out that the entire cast of NBC’s daytime soap had been released from their contracts.
The cost-cutting move came during the annual renewal window between NBC and Days distributor Sony Pictures TV; a renewal for Days typically comes at the start of the year. Negotiations for another season of the show on NBC, which had been underway, likely got accelerated by...

Who had the best Halloween costume in Salem?
Kathy: Ari and Holly were both cute. None of the adult costumes were very imaginative but Xander gets my "best" vote for good use of his assets.
Jack: I wish we'd had more to choose from. I loved Ari's princess costume, and Nicole/Eric's tribute to Grease was cool (though Eric looked more like he was dressed as...

Ronnie: I don't think the unrepentant rapist, Gabi, who has been married to for less than two months deserves all the whining she's been doing about him, but Lani has to be very dense to think it was a good idea to show up to his funeral.
Jack: I didn't think it was necessary for either of them to go.

Willem Dafoe chats to us about Clear & Present Danger, Murder On The Orient Express, White Sands and our feet.
An odd start to an interview as I walked into a comfy room to talk to Willem Dafoe for a bit. We ended up talking about feet, specifically that mine were big. He sought to assure me that my feet were fine, to try and make me feel better about myself. There’s a measure of a man for you.

As Akiva Goldsman’s Weed Road production company and Paramount Pictures close a new deal, rumours have surfaced that Goldsman could finally bring to life Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six and that Ryan Reynolds is being lined up to take the lead.
Deadline has reported that “loose talks” have commenced with the Deadpool actor to play Clancy’s Mercenary Hero Ex-Navy Seal, John Clark – In the novel, Clark, becomes head of an international task force to combat terrorism. The team is quickly confronted by a series of international incidents. How close the intended production will keep to Clancy’s novel is yet to be confirmed.
However, it is expected that ‘Without Remorse’ will be the next to be adapted in the Clark series of stories as the character has already been portrayed by Willem Dafoe and Liev Schreiber in both Clear and Present Danger and The Sum of all Fears.
