Jagged Edge Productions and ITN Studios have announced that Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare has extended its theatrical run in 75 different locations, including New York City, NY, Universal City, CA, Tampa, Fl, and more. It will now continue its theatrical run until January 23, 2025.

Two new clips from the next entry in Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey director Rhys Frake-Waterfield's Twisted Childhood Universe were posted to YouTube by fan account Rgc on January 4. The clips show Martin Portlock's menacing Peter Pan terrorizing Michael and Wendy Darling, portrayed by Peter DeSouza-Feighoney and Megan Placito respectively, with tales of exactly what Neverland is and everything it has to offer the villain's next victims.

Last year, producer/director Louisa Warren announced that she was working on two fractured fairy tale horror movies, Cinderella’s Curse and Sleeping Beauty’s Massacre. Now our friends at Bloody Disgusting have revealed that Sleeping Beauty’s Massacre has been given a VOD release – but it’s not called Sleeping Beauty’s Massacre anymore. Hugh Grant is one of the most celebrated actors in Hollywood, and his perfect combination of wit and charm only makes it more understandable why. Needless to say, his very charming personality and physical features are also the reason why a lot of the roles he has donned have been in rom-coms. But even through those rom-coms, Grant has displayed quite a bit of action.

They’ve even made several horror Tooth Fairy movies. A horror retelling of Sleeping Beauty is officially in the works. Charles Perrault's 1697 fairy tale has been adapted into countless films and television shows over the years, including the classic 1959 animated Disney movie and the two live-action Maleficent films which retell the story from the perspective of the eponymous antagonist played by Angelina Jolie. The classic children's tale tells the story of a young princess who is cursed by an evil fairy to fall into a deep sleep and is awakened by a true love's kiss after a hundred years.

Per Bloody Disgusting, a horror retelling of the beloved children's story is in the works, with filming set to start in August 2023 in the United Kingdom. British comics have not been well served in their Hollywood adaptations. Transatlantic transitions from page to screen result in either being too faithful, as Zack Synder’s Watchmen arguably was, or too loose with the essence of the source material, resulting in a genre bound snooze fest – Judge Dredd please stand up (and don’t remove your helmet!).

While the golden age of American comics have lit up the screen in this last decade, with visionary directors taking the basic elements of these iconic characters to their own conclusions, British comics have not garnered such attention.
