Jon Keeyes Director Jon Keeyes (American Nightmare, Fall Down Dead) who has shown a clear understanding of what makes a horror film scary and suspenseful will be taking over directing duties for the web series "Throwing Stones". I liked the idea behind the first season of Throwing Stones and thought it featured a dynamic young cast, but I will be honest, I thought it missed the mark in terms of crafting terror and unease. So that's why I am excited to see Keeyes taking over as he has the know how to take what was missing from season 1 and improve upon that. I think Keeyes has the potential to be the next Wes Craven (Scream) if he can score that breakout hit as he has such a command on what makes a scary film scary. Writer Bart D. Van Bemmel has recently announced that the web series "Throwing Stones" will begin a second season with director Jon Keeyes (Fall Down Dead). "Throwing Stones" is an upcoming horror webseries, which was first reported on (here). The film has moved along in production, with the first episode planned for release this November. The film takes on the Broken Windows Theory which basically states that the removal of torn down and broken homes or the repairing of damaged infrastructure leads to a safer community.
