- Outside of acting, Mimi extended her artistic talents to include sculpting in clay. She received an "Honorable Mention" award at the Los Angeles' Union Artist Show in 1976 for two of her sculptures.
- Learning how to water ski in her teens, Mimi won 14 trophies for Tricks and Slalom Events at East Coast Water Ski meets and became a certified scuba diver and enjoyed dives up and down the Coast of California.
- A longtime friend of Joyce Van Patten, she and Joyce first met as child models on a print job in NYC. In later years, she went on for Joyce in the play "Same Time, Next Year" (in one of her favorite roles) at the Ahmanson Theatre and, as a result, got her first Los Angeles agent.
- Born in Brooklyn New York. Started working professionally at age 3 1/2 as a John Robert Powers Model in New York City. Joined Screen Actors Guild as a junior member.
