Trackerseason 3 is just a few months away, and with the show twisting into Colter Shaw's (Justin Hartley) tragic past during its last season finale, the family mystery is going to continue unraveling. Colter, who's spent the past two seasons traveling all over the continental US to track down missing people, has always had the sting of a mysterious past.
While Tracker season 2 hit some bumps in the road when it came to storytelling, the overall arc of Colter grappling with the tragic, mysterious passing of his late father stuck with him through each resolved mystery. Despite seeing his siblings, Russell Shaw (Jensen Ackles) and Dory Shaw (Melissa Roxburgh), coping in their own ways, Colter's need to resolve other mysteries remained.
In an interview with Collider, Tracker's showrunner Elwood Reid discussed the ways that "dark forces" are going to keep Colter guessing when it comes to his father's past. While...

Alicia Silverstone is clueless no more. These days, the teen-flick icon is having a killer time, collecting evidence and following leads in Irish Blood, Acorn TV‘s twisty mystery series. Silverstone’s Fiona Sharpe is an intrepid L.A. divorce attorney with daddy issues of the whodunit variety. “I don’t want to give anything away, but I think she’s trying to figure out who she is as much as she is trying to solve the mystery of her father,” she says of Fiona, who in the series opener receives a package in the mail — from her missing Irish dad Declan (Jason O’Mara) — containing a key and a photo of a storage locker. Still resentful that he abandoned her and her mother (Wendy Crewson) for his homeland without warning 30 years ago, she nevertheless gives in to her curiosity and calls the number on the back of the photo. But...

Jensen Ackles is ready to spill the tea — kind of. After months of wishing and waiting, hoping that our favorite Tracker guest star will eventually reprise his role in the upcoming third season, the Supernatural alum seems to point towards the incredible likelihood that he’ll be seen again opposite series star, Justin Hartley. While chatting with TV Insider about his new Prime Video crime drama, Countdown, Ackles, who previously appeared on the CBS procedural as Russell, the brother of Hartley’s Colter Shaw, said there’s “probably a good chance” that audiences will see his character make a comeback during the next set of episodes.

“There’s a lot of stuff to uncover there,” Jensen Ackles says of Tracker, on which he recurs as Russell, the brother of Justin Hartley‘s Colter Shaw. Season 2 ended with Colter beginning to get answers about the night of their father’s death. The man Russell had seen that night was Otto (Alex Fernandez), who told Colter that yes, he pushed his father off the cliff, but also revealed that his mother (Wendy Crewson) had asked for his help. The good news is that we’ll get more answers when Season 3 premieres in October — and it sounds like Ackles should be back! While discussing his new Prime Video drama, Countdown, he tells TV Insider there’s “probably a good chance” of a return in Season 3. Both in movies and on television, stories set in airplanes — or that are tied to events in an airplane — tend to be thrilling and spark viewers' curiosity. The last hit show that featured an airborne plot was Manifest, a 2018 thriller and mystery series that saw a group of passengers simply disappear mid-flight and land five and a half years later as if no time had passed. In light of its possibility, Peacock quickly added to its catalog a show with a similar potential that was almost equally popular. Now that it's premiered on Netflix, the Canadian series Departure is once again seeing a rise in its popularity.
Depending on how you look at it, Departure can even be considered a sort of "sister" series to Manifest. The story centers around the Tsif (Transport Safety and Investigations Bureau), an entity that investigates and tries to understand the cause of major airline disasters.

For all intents and purposes, CBS' drama series, Tracker, is supremely successful. Since its debut in 2024, the show, which stars Justin Hartley in the lead role of Colter Shaw, has consistently captivated audiences. Hartley features as a rewardist who finds missing people in exchange for the posted reward money. This sees the audience visit new places via the adventures of Mr. Shaw. The show continues to punch hard for CBS, and Hartley has his own theory on why the show has been so successful.
Hartley sat down to discuss the success of Tracker with the Men's Journal, and offered some unique insight. During the interview, the actor notes that the CBS drama allows his character to grow over time while highlighting that Colter’s version of masculinity does help to drive success. "One of the things I really love about Colter and the way we've built him is that he doesn't apologize for his masculinity.

Colter Shaw (Justin Hartley) is seemingly about to find out just what really happened to his father (Lee Tergesen) the night he died. The Tracker Season 2 finale ended with him finding the man who pushed him off the cliff, but there’s much more to the story. And with all those answers should come a Shaw family reunion. Thus far, Jensen Ackles (Colter’s brother Russell), Melissa Roxburgh (Colter’s sister Dory), and Wendy Crewson (Colter’s mother Mary Dove) have all appeared in a couple episodes but never together. It’s time for that to change. The series began with Colter’s father’s death a mystery. His father was paranoid and had the family living in a cabin in the woods. It may be hard to remember today with all we’ve been through as a people in the last twenty-five years, but back in the late 90s and early 2000s, cloning was a scorching hot news topic. Though we don’t agree on mostly anything these days, back then there were legitimate reasons for vehement opinions on both sides as the ability to clone pets and humans began to feel eerily reachable. Naturally, Hollywood stepped in to do what Hollywood does. They gave us a humorous but sneakily deep-thinking Sci-Fi/Action flick about all of the discourse surrounding cloning, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. And he almost died making it. This is the story of what happened to The 6th Day.

Although sold to audiences as a delightful holiday comedy for the family, John Pasquin's 1994 blockbuster "The Santa Clause" has a twisted premise at its heart. Divorced dad Scott Calvin (Tim Allen) is looking after his young son Charlie (Eric Lloyd) on Christmas night when, up on the roof, there arises a clatter. He goes to investigate and finds the very real Santa Claus preparing to go down his chimney. Scott yells out and startles Santa, causing the jolly old man to fall off the roof to his death. The accidental manslaughter of Santa Claus is a weird place to start a heartwarming fable for kids, much less Disney's larger "Santa Clause" franchise.
Scott then finds a business card among Santa's belongings, entreating him to don the furry red coat and pick up the Christmas gig where Santa left off. Scott, in turn, returns the sleigh to the North Pole...

Prime Video’s We Were Liars offers a twisty murder mystery with the nostalgia of young love and carefree summers that, underneath the surface, also tackles themes of social consciousness from racism to classism and more.
After an upbringing filled with immense privilege, the show’s four titular teenage characters — Cadence Sinclair Eastman (Emily Alyn Lind), Gatwick Patil (Shubham Maheshwari), Johnny Sinclair Dennis (Joseph Zada) and Mirren Sinclair Sheffield (Esther McGregor) — start to challenge their elders quite often during Summer 16 on Beechwood Island, the first of two summers that audiences follow with the crew.
Cadence describes the adults in the family as as “old-money Democrats.” She and her cousins see their family as the kind of people who mean well but don’t often challenge their own prejudices, despite acknowledging systemic oppression. As the summer progresses, they increasingly at odds with patriarch Harris Sinclair (David Morse), matriarch Tipper (Wendy Crewson...

Spoiler Alert: This piece spoils the entirety of We Were Liars now streaming on Prime Video.
From the beginning of Julie Plec’s and Carina Adly MacKenzie’s television adaptation of E. Lockhart’s bestselling book We Were Liars, it’s clear that narrator Cadence Sinclair Eastman has a vivid imagination and a knack for storytelling.
Throughout the series, which also stars Shubham Maheshwari as Gat Patil, Joseph Zada as Johnny Sinclair Dennis and Esther McGregor as Mirren Sinclair Sheffield, viewers are on a journey told from Cadence’s sometimes unreliable perspective, waiting on the edge of their seats for her to recover her equally vivid and colorful memories of summer 16 so that she can piece together what happened that left her barely clothed on the beach one night on her family’s private Beechwood Island. “This is like some ‘Knives Out’ meets ‘Get Out’ shit.”
If only this line — uttered six episodes into the eight-episode first season of Prime Video’s new rich-people-behaving-badly mystery “We Were Liars” — had been uttered sooner. Maybe if the four teen protagonists realized what sort of world they were living in, they wouldn’t have lingered there for so long. Maybe then, the horrifying events of Summer 16 wouldn’t have come to pass.
Then again, no one likes learning that their perfect fairytale is actually a nightmare. And for the Sinclair family, no price is too high when it comes to perfection — an ethos that gets pushed to its limits over the course of the Amazon series.

Check Out This ’90s Action Thriller Starring Harrison Ford As US President(Photo Credit –Facebook)
Harrison Ford’s filmography stands unparalleled among Hollywood veterans. Ford has long been synonymous with cinematic adventure and is one of the few actors to headline multiple blockbuster franchises, like Star Wars and Indiana Jones. A licensed pilot like Tom Cruise, Ford’s most iconic role is that of Han Solo, the daring pilot of the Millennium Falcon.
Recently, he joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Captain America: Brave New World, portraying Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, the U.S. President who transforms into Red Hulk. Interestingly, this isn’t Ford’s first presidential role; he previously portrayed the U.S. President while piloting Air Force One in the 1997 action-thriller of the same name.
Air Force One: Plot
Released in 1997, Air Force One capitalized on the ’90s trend of high-stakes action films set in confined spaces, akin to Die Hard and Speed.

Back in 2022, it was announced that E. Lockhart’s award-winning young adult fiction novel, We Were Liars, would be turning into a television show, along with a prequel, Family of Liars. The screen rights were purchased by Julie Plec’s My So-Called Company and Universal Television. Later, Amazon Studios greenlit the series, and now, in no time, it will be dropping on Prime Video.
Since it is only a matter of time before We Were Liars hits our screens, it’s quite obvious that fans want to know everything and anything there is to know about the series. Who is directing it, who is starring in it, what’s the plot…are common questions that come to every fan’s mind. Let me take some time to answer it for you!

Tracker spoilers and updates reveal Season 2 concluded with Colter Shaw (Justin Hartley) discovering surprising information regarding his father’s death.
Yet, a new set of questions has emerged that may serve as a foundation for Season 3 of the popular CBS series; what insights does showrunner Elwood Reid provide about Season 3?
Reid Talked About Season Three
Recently, Elwood Reid, the showrunner of Tracker, talked to TV Line regarding Season 3. He was asked whether they intend to develop ongoing story arcs alongside the weekly cases.
His response was complex and suggests a lot of excitement, however, he began by warning that this is a “long season,” thus, they must “parcel” out some of the extended storyline. If everything is revealed too soon, “you’ve got nowhere to go.”
Next, he discussed an early episode from Season 2, titled “The Night Movers;” in this episode, Colter is searching for individuals and encounters someone who assists people in hiding.

The second season of Tracker ended its run this past Sunday with Colter Shaw returning home to Echo Ridge. While Justin Hartley's Colter was back in his hometown to solve a case involving missing children from across the country, the world-famous rewardist eventually stumbled upon a world-shattering discovery of his own in the season finale. The CBS procedural has already been renewed for a third season which will certainly look to unpack what the newly unraveled Shaw family secret means for Colter and his siblings. Now, we know when production begins on the new season. Shworunner Elwood Reid, in a conversation with Screen Rant, has revealed that production on Tracker Season 3 will kick off later this year, in July.
"Yeah, we will be back in two weeks," Reid said, referencing the return of the show's writers' room, "and we start filming in July. I think it's the 16th or something like that.

The second season of Tracker has completed its run and with its season finale came an earth-shattering revelation regarding the circumstances behind the death of Ashton Shaw (Lee Tergesen). It is a moment that negatively impacted the Shaw family in the Justin Hartley-led CBS procedural. The drama has been renewed for a third season and while Hartley's Colter and his siblings will have to deal with this new piece of information somehow, the upcoming season will also look to flesh out another character. Fiona Rene's Reenie Greene has been a mainstay since the series premiered in 2024. Despite working as legal counsel for Colter and their occasional romantic tension, not much has been revealed about the character. Showrunner Elwood Reid reveals that is all about to change in Season 3.

The hit CBS drama series Tracker ended its second season run this past Sunday with an episode titled "Echo Ridge." The Justin Hartley-led CBS procedural ended on a spicy cliffhanger as Hartley's Colter Shaw finally meets the one responsible for pushing his father, Ashton Shaw (Lee Tergesen), to his death. While Otto (Shane Leydon) might have shoved Ashton off the cliff, the episode reveals that Colter's mother, Mary (Wendy Crewson), was the mastermind. It's likely to be an earth-shattering moment for Colter when Season 3 arrives, and showrunner Elwood Reid has teased what comes next for Colter and his family.
“I think Colter is going to get an answer; he’s going to get some lies," Reid tells The Hollywood Reporter. "I mean, look, it’s families. Families are fucking messy. Family will lie to your face. What’s interesting about Colter, it’s like, what does he do...

Eric Braeden shared some praise for his former on-screen son, Justin Hartley, on social media. The actor played Adam Newman on The Young and the Restless and currently stars on the hit primetime show, Tracker.
On The Edge Of His Seat
Braeden usually has Y&R fans wondering what his persona, Victor, is up to next. (Will Victor and Phyllis end up in a steamy affair?) This time, it was Braeden who was on the edge of his seat. He watched Justin Hartley’s performance on the Season 2 finale of Tracker, which aired on Sunday, May 11, on CBS. Braeden’s mind was “blown” all throughout the episode. Not only did he praise Hartley, but he also praised the cast, crew, and production.
“I was blown away by the final show! Excellent script, direction, casting, camera work, locations…and Justin is one of those rare actors with absolute authenticity! One believes every move.

The following contains major spoilers from Tracker Season 2, Episode 20, "Echo Ridge."
Trackerhas seen Colter Shaw (Justin Hartley) solve several cases over the course of two seasons, while simultaneously trying to figure out who killed his father, Ashton. The show's Season 2 finale, titled "Echo Ridge" may have provided the answer, but there's a lot more to the story.
Speaking to TV Line, executive producer Elwood Reid revealed that Shaw's mother, Mary, may not have actually wanted her husband dead because she did not explicitly ask Otto Waldron to push him off a cliff. "I want to make one clarification," he said. "[Otto] doesn't say that mom ordered the murder of his father. He said, 'She asked me to be up there,' so there's much more to that story to unpack.

[This story contains spoilers from the season two finale of Tracker.]
It was inevitable. Two seasons of the CBS hit action drama, Tracker, starring Justin Hartley as Colter Shaw, found the protagonist, a nationwide finder of missing people, never quite able to solve the mystery of who killed his father many decades ago when he was a teenager. The tragic event has lingered with and haunted Colter all the way into adulthood and alienated him from much of his family.
For many years, Colter blamed his older brother Russell Shaw (Jensen Ackles) for seemingly having a direct impact on their father, Ashton (Lee Tergesen), falling off of a cliff to his death in the woods near the town of “Echo Ridge” (also the name of the final episode). Ashton, a brilliant professor at Berkeley University, moved his wife, Mary Dove (Wendy Crewson) and their three children (sister Dory played by Melissa Roxburgh rounds out the siblings) to live off the...
