Trivia

  • He led the Hungarian Justice and Life Party, the first far-right party to enter Hungarian Parliament since World War II. In October 1994, he was Chairman of the Justice and Life Party which he helped found. It won enough seats to be part of Hungary's Parliament from 1998 to 2002.
  • Brother of actor László Csurka.
  • Son of Budapest conservative journalist. He was detained during the Hungarian uprising against the Soviets in 1956 for leading a college militia. During his incarceration, he was recruited by the government to be an informer. He claimed that he accepted the role but didn't write any reports.
  • He is survived by his son and two daughters.
  • President of the 'Hungarian Truth and Life Party' (MIEP), leader of its parliamentary fraction
