London, Nov. 3: A 79-year-old woman from Somerset is set to play a deadly martial arts assassin in her Hollywood debut series.
Retired midwife Kay D'Arcy will star in the series as an absent-minded but merciless avenger with lethal weapons hidden in her hair bun, the Daily Express reported.
D'Arcy landed the role in Agent 88 after showing off her tai chi skills.
"What impressed us is that Kay could go from being frail to being a totally empowered woman," producer Jan Utstein-o'Neill said.
