Which is why while recuperating from a bout of double pneumonia that forced him to cancel a concert in Mexico City and reshuffle his tour dates, The Smiths' former frontman took time out to pen a poignant tribute to one of his most devoted admirers who died recently. Morrissey has written a heartfelt message in response to the death of a devoted fan who apparently committed suicide. In a letter on posted on the Morrissey news site "True To You" (via Pitchfork), the singer calls Margaret Dale a "woman of action, who now knows the soul of the world."
