The Free Movie of the Day we have for you today is the action comedy Ace of Hearts, starring Dean Cain. Earlier this summer, the cult hit Snakes on a Plane celebrated its 10th Anniversary, and as implausible as that movie was, it just became a reality for a group of Mexican airline passengers. During an AeroMexico flight from Torreon to Mexico City yesterday, passenger Indalecio Medina posted a video to social media, which shows a massive snake, believed to be a venomous green viper, falling from an overhead compartment to the main cabin. The plane was given priority clearance to land in Mexico City so that animal control could properly remove the snake.

While it still isn't known how the snake even got on the plane, Upi reports that Indalecio Medina captured the snake in a blanket and gave it some "magazines to read." He also posted another brief video on Twitter that shows animal control workers removing the snake. Here's what a representative for AeroMexico airlines had to say in a statement.

In casting news, TV Guide has reported that Brad Dourif (Fringe, Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers) has been cast as “a beggar who befriends the evil Rumpelstiltskin.” Hopefully he’ll be able to look less creepy than when he was playing Wormtongue. Playing opposite Robert Carlysle as Rumpelstiltskin, maybe the two of them will be vying for Creepiest in All the Land.

Kevin Sorbo leads the cast of this Canadian sci-fi film.

For the moment, no release date has been announced for this film, which is based on a comic book by Canadian writer Christos N. Gage.

The story is about a detective, Sean Nault (Kevin Sorbo), who investigates on a series of weird murders that were committed with the help of science. Because he lives on a parallel Earth, Nault only knows what magic is. In his investigation, he's helped by Leonore (Steph Song), a person who believes that science has its place in society. During their mission, both will be led to another dimension and they must hurry before both Earths get destroyed.

The film also stars Christopher Judge, Alan C. Peterson, Alisen Down, Jerry Wasserman, Michael St. John Smith, David Richmond-Peck, Vladmir Moskovchenko, Kanji Nimet, Keith Dallas, Adrian Holmes, Jeny Cassady, Sean Tyson and Gerry Durand.

On another news, the webseries spin-off of "Supernatural" has premiered in conjunction with the show's 100th episode this week. Called "Ghosfacers", the webseries follows Ed and Harry as they investigate supernatural events. The first installment is available to watch here.

Back in early March we learned that Matt Frewer would be guest starring on The CW's Supernatural as the third of the Four Horsemen to appear during Season Five: Pestilence, and now we know which episode we'll be seeing him in.

Buddy TV provided the following synopsis of what we can expect in Frewer's episode, No. 20, entitled "The Devil You Know", which airs April 29th:

The demon Crowley (guest star Mark Sheppard) tells Sam and Dean he can help them find the remaining Horsemen rings so they can trap Lucifer. A few days ago, E1 Entertainment, a Canadian distributor, confirmed on its YouTube account that it will distribute Cameron Labine's Control Alt Delete, a comedy that premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival two years ago. However, no release date has been announced for this film.

Synopsis:

It's 1999 and lovable computer geek Lewis Henderson (Tyler Labine) is dumped by his long time girlfriend Sarah (Laura Bertram). So he does what any young urban slacker would: work less and watch Internet porn more. With the added pressures of his buggy Y2K software and repeated romantic rejection, Lewis discovers that the website images no longer turn him on and thus begins his strangely satisfying sexual relationship with the machine itself.

But all honeymoons must end and Lewis’s eye starts to wander from hisdependable home desktop. His desire for newer, sexier models grows until hefinds himself copulating with co-worker’s CPUs.
