Tom Brady was seen linking arms with his New England Patriots teammates during the national anthem at their Sunday afternoon game against the Houston Texans.
Patriots reporter for the Providence Journal Mark Daniels also noted that lots of defensive players chose to take a knee.
On Sunday morning, Brady subtly showed his support for the NFL players’ protest following Donald Trump’s recent comments about how professional athletes like Colin Kaepernick — who have chosen to protest the national anthem by taking a knee — should be fired.
Brady posted a picture of him and his teammate James White captioned, “Strength. Passion.

Here are a couple of posters for two classic sci-fi films that we all love. Above, we have an Aliens-inspired propaganda poster called Join the Colonial Marines, which I totally would do if they actually existed. That illustration was created by Mark Daniels. The art below features Predator and was designed by artist Dan Mumford. Prints of these posters will be available for purchase at 10:30am Pdt on October 31st, 2014, right here.

At GeekTyrant we are always finding cool stuff that never makes it to the site. Inspired by Screenrant's Geek Picks and Slashfilm's Page 2, we've created what we are calling "Attacks." These attacks will cover cosplay, geek gear, videos, toys, and art.
Today's Art Attack features 37 art pieces of Spider-Man, Venom, The Avengers, Han Solo, R2-D2, Luke Skwalker, Seven Samurai, Black Hole, Man of Steel, Ghostbusters, Darth Vader, Alice, Boba Fett, Stormtrooper, DC Superheroines, Ariel, Hulk, and Deadpool.
Art Attack has a magazine style layout, slideshow galleries, and every image is clickable to show a larger version. Best of all, it's all on one page.

Here's a great piece of B-movie style vintage poster art for a fake Star Wars-inspired horror film called Lair of the Rancor, which looks like it'd be a great movie! The poster was created by Mark Daniels and Mark Steel. I love the vintage horror movie feel that it has. I'd like to see some more of these fun Star Wars poster concepts. I love the tag lines used in the poster as well. Do you have any ideas for a Star Wars B-Horror film?...

San Diego’s annual Comic-Con is mostly known for its major media spectacles, displays and panel discussions by major mainstream Hollywood studios and distributors. Lesser known is the Independent Film Festival that is hosted by and runs concurrently with the larger convention on July 21-24.
The film festival runs in a large meeting room at the Marriott Marquis Hotel and Marina, located right next door to the convention center. Each day kicks off with a “Film School” panel discussion at 10:00 a.m., then packs the late morning, all afternoon and night with independent films from all over the world.
Screenings are blocked by genre, such as Action/Adventure, Sci-Fi, Horror, Animation and Documentary. There’s also an awards presentation on the 24th, with repeat screenings of the winning films.
One of the highlights of this year’s Cci-iff is the screening of Waylon Bacon‘s fantastic and disturbing short film Help Wanted,...
