Hayden Christensen has received a lot of love after returning to play Anakin Skywalker in both the Obi-Wan Kenobi series, and as part of Ahsoka. As excited as fans were to see him back as the character, Christensen was just as excited to explore the Clone Wars-era Anakin as well.

Per The Hollywood Reporter, Christensen and Rosario Dawson took part in an Emmys for Your Consideration panel to discuss their work on Ahsoka. Christensen's return to that era of Anakin, delighted many fans of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. It seemed inconceivable for many years that there would ever be a live-action version of Anakin and Ahsoka together, and this delighted Christensen as well. Christensen said he was excited "getting to explore Clone Wars-era Anakin."

The actor was behind bringing the character to life in George Lucas’ original Star Wars movie, A New Hope. The character played a crucial role in the movie, which featured the iconic ‘Han Shoots Greedo’ scene alongside Harrison Ford.

Maria De Aragon, Star Wars' Greedo, Dies at 81

Star Wars franchise star Maria De Aragon has passed away. The actress was best known for playing Greedo in the original Star Wars movie released by director George Lucas in 1977.

The announcement of De Aragon's death comes from her management company, Coolwaters Productions, with a post shared on Instagram. It's revealed in the post that De Aragon died of natural causes in late April. She was 81 years old.

"Coolwaters Productions LLC is sad to report that our client Ms. Maria De Aragon, the actress who helped bring the character of 'Greedo' to life in Star Wars: A New Hope has passed away," the announcement post reads in part. "She leaves behind her family in Canada. She passed away at a nursing home at the age of 81 in late April 2024 of natural causes.
