A new graphic novel chronicling the life and times of Lemmy Kilmister and Motörhead is set to arrive this summer via Z2 Comics. A first look at the cover art can be seen below.

Presented in an oral history format, No Remorse: The Illustrated True Stories of Lemmy Kilmister and Motörhead features contributions from rock icons such as Dave Grohl (who wrote the foreword), Ozzy Osbourne (who penned the afterword), Slash, Lars Ulrich, Lita Ford, Chrissie Hynde, Dee Snider, and Dave Navarro, among others. Plus, Lemmy’s bandmates Phil Campbell, Mickey Dee, and Slim Jim Phantom are also included.

Other notable contributors include Neil Gaiman, Michael Moorcock, pro-wrestlers Triple H and Corey Graves, Matt Pinfield, Penelope Spheeris, and Riki Rachtman.

In all, 25 individuals were paired with 25 artists, recounting stories about their personal encounters with the late Motörhead legend. Illustrators include Dave Chisholm, Bob Fingerman, Jay Jay Jackson, and Jim Mahfood.

A Man Pulled a Gun on McDonald's Workers After He Got Tired of Waiting for His Burger
Sometimes fast food just isn't fast enough for some people. A Nashville man, who has been identified by police as 21-year-old Demetri Johnson, clearly left his holiday cheer at home last Friday. Johnson went to extreme measures when he became hangry (hungry and angry, for those who don't know) while at a local McDonald's last week and allegedly pulled a gun out to threaten workers when he started getting impatient while waiting for his food. According to local reports, Johnson ordered a meal from the drive-thru at Mickey Dee's, and after driving off, he checked his bag and realized it was missing his McDouble, so he turned around. After arriving back at the McDonald's, he reportedly...

Motörhead – Aftershock Album Review
Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars

What is there to say about Motörhead than hasn’t been said?

Now onto their 21st album and still going just as strong as ever (despite Lemmy’s increasingly dire health issues), Aftershock continues to deliver the same signature mix of greasy powerchords and driving basslines – nitrous-fuelled as always by Lemmy’s marmite vocals.

Forever a sticking point with many rock fans is the combination of Motörhead’s lack of compositional progression across their discography, twinned with Mr. Kilmister’s vocals, which are now sadly noticeably weaker than before. However, from opening pulse-generator Heartbreaker to the gear-change solo in Do You Believe, this is still unashamedly Motörhead through and through.

Production-wise Lemmy’s bass tone sounds as downright nasty as ever, and with the band themselves already living legends, you’d expect nothing less at this stage. Whilst other metal festival stalwarts Slayer are going through...

Kate Middleton Might Make You Crave McDonald's—Take a Look!
Catherine Princess of Wales
It's a fact: Seeing Kate Middleton stopping at McDonald's will make anyone—maybe even Jennifer Aniston—want a Big Mac (or McDouble, if you're saving money) in their hands. The new mom proved that even a duchess can appreciate some fast food from time to time after being spotted making a stop at the Golden Arches, which was located among a number of food spots at a roadside service station, while with the nanny. And can we just acknowledge the fact that the royal's jacket matches the umbrellas? Perfection. There's no word as to what or if Kate indulged in some tasty goodness while at Mickey Dee's, but hopefully she went all out. After all that prenatal yoga and eating...

Quelle Tragédie! McDonalds to Open at France's Louvre Museum
Ah, McDonald's: Those golden arches are the ubiquitous symbol of cheap, convenient American grub. Or perhaps the universal symbol for high-fructose corn syrup? And with the U.S. market saturated (fun fact: the furthest you can get from a Mickey Dee's in this country is 107 miles), their fast-food empire has spread overseas, becoming a reliable shorthand for the ever-creeping tentacles of globalized consumerism. Case in point: McDonald's has just announced that they've cracked a market that was previously thought to be nigh-unassailable: the Louvre museum in Paris.
