The wait for more Wizards Beyond Waverly Place is almost over. Disney has revealed when the fan-favorite sequel series to Wizards of Waverly Place will return with new episodes, as well as which stars from the original will be returning in a guest capacity.

Wizards Beyond Waverly Place Season 2 will premiere with its first two episodes on Disney Channel and Disney Channel On Demand on Friday, Sept. 12. Similar to Season 1, a whole batch of episodes will arrive on Disney+ in the United States and select international markets ahead of their Disney Channel premiere on Wednesday, Oct. 8. Gomez is reprising her role as Alex Russo in the Wizards of Waverly Place spinoff, Wizards Beyond Waverly Place, this fall. Disney Channel has announced that the hotly-anticipated Wizards Beyond Waverly Place will debut with its first two episodes on Tuesday, Oct. 29, at 8:00 p.m. Edt. The first eight episodes will then be made available on Disney+ and Disney Channel On Demand the next day, Wednesday, Oct. 30. Alongside the date announcement, Disney revealed that Disney Channel alums Raven-Symon and Danielle Fishel (Girl Meets World) will direct episodes in Season 1. Speaking with Us Weekly, Henrie shared that David DeLuise would make an appearance in Wizards Beyond Waverly Place's first season, reprising his role from the original series as his character Justin Russo's father, Jerry Russo. "It was a joy," said Henrie about filming with his TV dad again. "And we hope to have everyone back throughout the lifetime of the show, and if its up to me, as often as possible cause theyre just such a wonderful addition."
