Netflix's comedy special, Torching 2024: A Roast of the Year, includes a stellar lineup of celebrities which includes the likes of Tim Dillon, Hannah Berner, John Stamos, and Sam Morril. 

Torching gathers prominent comedians as they bid goodbye to 2024 by throwing shade at the much-talked-about moments of the past year. The event is hosted by Jeff Ross. 

The special is directed by Joe DeMaio and it was held in The Bellwether in Los Angeles last December 17.

Netflix is looking to enhance its first major foray into live content by adding pre- and post-show programs to complement Chris Rock’s March 4 standup special “Selective Outrage.”

The live March 4 special is a big experiment for the service, which has also disclosed how the live stream function will work on the platform. The live pre-show, dubbed “The Show Before the Show,” will begin at 6:30 p.m. Pt and originate from Los Angeles’ famed Comedy Store nightclub on Sunset Boulevard.

Netflix is readying for its first-ever live, global streaming event, and it’s pulling out all the stops.

On March 4, the streaming giant will air its first live stand-up special, Chris Rock: Selective Outrage, along with just-announced live pre- and post-shows. The former, now-titled The Show Before the Show, will stream live that evening at 6:30 p.m. Pt, kicking off the night with live commentary from fellow comics and messages from Rock’s famous pals, including Amy Schumer and Jerry Seinfeld. The Daily Show’s Ronny Chieng is set to host, with others appearing including Arsenio Hall, Deon Cole and Leslie Jones. Later in the evening, comedians David Spade and Dana Carvey will emcee the post-show, which is being billed The Show After the Show, with guests such as Jb Smoove and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

For the main event, Rock will go live from a Baltimore, Maryland, stage at 7 p.
