Neighbours (1985)
Neighbours parents-to-be Vanessa Villante and Lucas Fitzgerald embark on a deception that may well end in tears on UK screens later this month. The pair find themselves pretending to be a proper couple after Vanessa's strict mother Francesca descends on Ramsay Street unexpectedly. Vanessa (Alin Sumarwata) is well aware that conservative Francesca won't approve of her being a single mum, so she is grateful when Lucas (Scott Major) saves the day by presenting himself as her loving partner. Immediately keen to find out more about the new man in her daughter's life, Francesca (Carmelina di Guglielmo) suggests that they should all head out for some coffee together.
