Last issue saw radical moves for pretty much all the pieces on the chessboard that is The Mummy. Prior to this we had had a lot of scene setting, of establishing character and their role in the story, and a definite focus on Angel herself. Issue 3 widened the spotlight from Angel and Duncan to the two main antagonists, The Anubis sect and the Pyramid Club. Suddenly Angel wasn’t the centre of the story at all, but collateral damage between two pretty ruthless and nasty groups of mortal foes. No black and white here, just differing shades of grey.
Angel, herself fighting off the slow transition into mummification and possession, finds herself wanted by both The Sect of Anubis and The Pyramid Club. Neither side have her best interests at heart, though Pyramid Club member Duncan Clarke...

Well, Greg Knox, you redeemed yourself in those final seconds.
I was so ready to rip Greg to shreds, thinking he fell for the oldest trick in the book, but it looks like I underestimated him. Or maybe I overestimated Angela. It's just I've seen her use her sexuality to her advantage over the course of three seasons and I thought she was fooling Knox.
But alas, they are both just playing one another, as was the theme on Power Season 3 Episode 8. There was a whole lot of lying and backstabbing going on this week and things are headed towards a very messy finale.
I never thought I'd see the day when Tommy is the person giving Ghost a pep talk and imploring him to calm down, but that's where we are right now. Ghost is without Angela, basically estranged from his family and working for a psychopath, so it's...

The days of me rewatching full TV seasons are all but over. Where I could once spend an entire summer watching the same Scrubs and 24 episodes over and over again, there are just too many superb TV shows out there to justify revisiting old favorites on anything other than only the most hungover days.
But man, do I want to binge this entire second season of Mr. Robot once able. Not because it’s necessarily been worthy of a rewatch, though it is quite good. It’s because no other non-bingeable show demands to be binged quite like this one.
Visual entertainment is so fractured across so many mediums and categorized even further within those mediums. Sam Esmail originally viewed Mr. Robot as a movie.

It's this sort of pronouncement — delivered by Elliot after he's taken us on a flashback tour of his life behind bars — that should set alarm bells a-ringin' in the mind of any Mr. Robot viewer. There is no bottom to the rabbit hole on this show; and if our man is telling us there is one, it's a sure sign that he's less in control than he thinks he is. And he's definitely not the only one. As the season hits its home stretch, Mr. Robot Season 2 Episode 9 marks what is sure to be a pivotal installment of the series – and one of the best yet.
"Init 5" was deliciously tense and a welcome return to Elliot after the Elliot-less (but still wonderful) Mr. Robot Season 2 Episode 8.
We opened on a rundown of exactly what happened between the end of Mr. Robot Season 1 and Elliot ending up in jail, continuing the ongoing Mr. Robot Season 2 use of flashbacks to fill in gaps between and before what we've seen already. The knock at Elliot's door in the closing moments of the Mr. Robot Season 1 Finale was the police coming to arrest him.

Oh how I've missed that line! We are back for another summer of Saturday Sunday night craziness, and I couldn't be more excited for it. And rest assured, Power Season 3 Episode 1 was a solid start to the new season.
Drama? Check. Murder? Check. Lobos being ridiculous? Check. Sexy times? Triple check. Ah, it's good to be back.
