Elizabeth Olsen had been acting for a long time before she was cast as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlett Witch in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, the MCU role propelled her to success worldwide, making her one of the most popular comic book actors across the world thanks to her portrayal. She was last seen in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which apparently was a big mess.

Science fiction has always pushed the boundaries of cinema to its absolute limit, and plenty of classic black-and-white movies still have the power to entertain and enthrall viewers to this day. From technological marvels that utilized special effects that were massively ahead of their time to thought-provoking psychological stories whose narrative never lost its relevance, there are many movies, even from the black-and-white silent era, that can be enjoyed just as well by modern viewers.
Many of the best black-and-white sci-fi releases were produced during periods of great political and social upheaval and powerfully reflected the society out of which they were created. With terrifying alien creatures representing fears of the unknown or the dire consequences of technological progress, classic sci-fi films often convey themes that remain incredibly relevant to this day. While black-and-white movies may put some viewers off, sci-fi lovers would be doing themselves a disservice if they...

Fan-favorite filmmaker Tim Burton confirms that there are currently no plans for one hotly-anticipated Warner Bros. remake.
Per Deadline, Burton downplayed rumors that he and Warner Bros. are working together on a remake of the 1958 classic sci-fi horror film, Attack of the 50 Foot Woman. When the project came up during an interview at the Marrakech Film Festival, Burton stated plainly, "I have no real projects at the moment." Hinting that it still might happen but that he won't know for sure until filming begins, Burton added, "One thing I learned very early on is that until I’m on the set doing something I don’t know if I’m doing it."

Only once in a generation do we behold a classic such as this! The ’embiggened’ adventures of Nancy Archer lack technical sophistication, but good direction and a very direct story — female revenge writ large — grab us every time. Let the absurdities pile up, because Allison Hayes cuts a mean fifty-foot figure in that white two-piece, and saucy Yvette Vickers really warms up the clientele down at Tony’s place. It’s a terrific piece of late ’50s exploitation anti-art. The fantastic Reynold Brown poster is a key expression of the monsterrific worldview.
