    On June 30, 1953, a psychopath sneaked into a New York studio where an episode of the TV series "City Hospital" was being rehearsed. He stabbed a cameraman and threw a glass pitcher at Eric Dressler's head. Suffering from shock, Dressler was taken to a hospital.
