Sky Documentaries has unveiled plans for “Boyzone,” a three-part documentary series that will examine the trials and tribulations of Irish boyband and 1990s pop sensation Boyzone.

“For the first time in 30 years, band members Ronan Keating, Keith Duffy, Shane Lynch and Michael Graham grant rare and exclusive interview access [..] revealing their personal experiences in a band that sold over 25 million records worldwide, the boys also talk candidly about how they grappled with the true cost of global fame,” Sky said. “They confront the strained relationships and tragic events that have had a lasting impact on all their lives, families and friendships.”

“The documentary examines the key events that shaped Boyzone, including the highs and lows of global stardom, the intense tabloid intrusion in 1990’s Britain forcing Stephen Gately to come out, and after a sensational comeback in 2007, a devastating tragedy struck the band, as Gately died.

A docuseries on the global success of 1990s Irish boy band Boyzone is coming to Sky and Now.

For the first time in 30 years, bandmembers Ronan Keating, Keith Duffy, Shane Lynch and Michael Graham have granted rare, exclusive interview access for the three-part show, revealing their personal experiences in the band that sold over 25 million records worldwide.

“The boys talk candidly about how they grappled with the true cost of global fame and to try and help close a chapter in their lives, they confront the strained relationships and tragic events that have had a lasting impact on all their lives, families and friendships,” a plot synopsis reads.

The Sky original series, produced by Curious Films, includes contributions from the late Stephen Gately’s sister, Michelle, his former partner and pop star Eloy De Jong, and their estranged manager Louis Walsh, as well as never-been-seen archive footage from the group’s early career.

Popular 90s Irish boy band Boyzone are gearing up for a fresh round of concerts as the group reunite in a joint business venture. Formed by Louis Walsh back in 1993, the boyband had put off getting back together for some time now, with rumours they were coming back for their 30th anniversary this year.

Members Ronan Keating, Shane Lynch and Keith Duffy have signed a deal in a business move similar to that made by Hollywood’s Ryan Reynolds and Shut Up rapper Stormzy.

The Boyzone have teamed up to buy shares in Lancashire’s Chorley Fc where they also plan to perform a series of concerts, reports mirror.co.uk.

The band will be heading to this Saturday’s home game against Solihull in the Fa Trophy to officially seal the deal.

Singer Ronan Keating walked down memory lane and recalled how he and fellow Boyzone members spent the last night together.

His former bandmate Stephen Gately had passed away on October 10, 2009, and Boyzone fans remembered how his bandmates slept on the church floor with his coffin the night before his funeral, reports the sun.co.uk.

Keating, Keith Duffy, Shane Lynch and Mikey Graham had held an overnight vigil at St Laurence O'Toole Roman Catholic church so that he wasn't on his own for a moment. They brought sleeping bags into the church and slept beside his coffin.

Keating told Sky News that it was a "beautiful, amazing experience".

Ronan Keating added, "The four of us decided to stay with him on the Friday night in the church. All of us are so happy that we did it. It was our last night together as a five piece, our last real night together.

The Black Prince, an historical drama based upon the true story of Maharajah Duleep Singh, the boy who became king of Punjab shortly before it was annexed to the British empire, was awarded the Special Jury Remi Award today at the 50th annual WorldFest International Film Festival in Houston. The event’s Gold Remi was also awarded to the film’s Natalie O’Connor for achievement in Art Direction.

Majarajah Duleep Singh was exiled by the British to a privileged life in England when he was only 15 years old, and was shortly thereafter converted to Christianity. Alexander O'Neal has revealed his reasoning for quitting Celebrity Big Brother following his dramatic departure over the weekend.

The singer became embroiled in two unpleasant confrontations with showbiz blogger Perez Hilton, which resulted in a formal warning from Big Brother over O'Neal's use of an offensive term.

Speaking to CBB host Emma Willis on Celebrity Big Brother's Bit On The Side, Alexander revealed why he walked, saying: "I did it for myself and for my housemates."

The group will sing new track 'Night Changes' for the first time on television, as well as their current single 'Steal My Girl', which they performed on The X Factor last night.

The performance on the bridge will see the band serenading the audience below from the top of the iconic Walford location.

1. Jackie Stallone

"Yeah, Jackie," were the only two words uttered from the side of Jackie's heavily siliconed mouth as she entered the house, draped in fur and dripping in jewels. Her entrance soon became one of the most memorable moments from the entire series.

It was part-Jackie's presence, part-Jackie's face that really shocked Brigitte Nielsen back on the show in 2005 when her former mother-in-law entered the house on day five.

ITV has confirmed more details about The Job Lot's second series.

The sitcom will begin its second run on its new home of ITV2 in the autumn, with Russell Tovey and Sarah Hadland returning as Karl and Trish.

Casualty's Laura Aikman has joined the cast as new Deputy Manager Natalie, while Sophie McShera, Tony Maudsley, Jo Enright, Martin Marquez, Angela Curran and Adeel Akhtar all return.

Among the second series' guest stars are Meera Syal as a CEO of a Midlands hot tub company and Keith Duffy as a telephone engineer with a 'roving eye'.

A host of celebrities have signed up to take part in the second series of Tipping Point: Lucky Stars.

The celebrity version of the popular game show, hosted by Ben Shephard, has been renewed for a second primetime series.

Jonathan Ross, Lorraine Kelly and Carol Vorderman are among the stars who have signed up to take on the machine and attempt to win money for their chosen charities.

In Tipping Point: Lucky Stars - as it is for charity - the stakes are raised, as the value of the counters doubles to £100 and the jackpot becomes £20,000.

ITV's Kate Maddigan said: "I can't wait to see how the next batch of celebrities get on against the machine. Tipping Point is such a favourite every afternoon, and Lucky Stars makes a welcome return to the evenings."

Ronan Keating has dismissed reports that he will be appearing in the next series of Celebrity Big Brother.

The Boyzone star took to Twitter amid mounting speculation that he would follow his bandmate Keith Duffy into the famous compound.

"Love all the chat about me and Big Brother," he wrote. "Please know i am not in talks with anyone regarding this. Nor will I be."

The rumours surrounding Keating appeared to stem from a light-hearted tweet he wrote a few weeks ago which included the phrase "day 2 in the Big Brother house" - but was actually in reference to a detox plan.

While the new series of Celebrity Big Brother won't begin until this summer's 'civilian' version has ended, rumours about who could be making their way into the Borehamwood bungalow have been circulating for some time.

Postman Pat is hitting the big screen, with Episodes actor Stephen Mangan and Boyzone star Ronan Keating voicing the cheery postie when he's speaking and singing, respectively.

To celebrate, Digital Spy caught up with the pair to find out all about weird fan mail and demand they sing the famous Postman Pat theme tune for our amusement.

Plus, with the film seeing Pat enter a Britain's Got Talent-esque competition, we got Stephen to relive his worst ever audition (it involved being half-naked up a ladder) and chatted to Ronan about a possible move from X Factor Australia to the homegrown version...

Ronan Keating is in awe of Simon Cowell, branding the Britain's Got Talent boss a "very impressive man" and revealing that he "would love" to join The X Factor UK.

The former Boyzone star - who is currently a judge on the Australian version of X Factor - described Cowell as "a great businessman... through and through".

Speaking to Digital Spy about his role in Postman Pat: The Movie, which features a spoof version of the Syco chief named 'Simon Cowbell', Keating said: "Simon's always been very nice to me.

"I worked with Simon in the early years when I signed Westlife to his label, so I've known him for years. He's a very clever man. He knows what he's doing.

"The empire that he's built is very impressive. He's a great businessman, really, through and through."

Tom Daley has admitted to Digital Spy that he is not sure if Splash! will return for another series.

The Olympian revealed that ITV has yet to make a decision over the future of his celebrity diving show, which suffered a ratings drop in its recently-concluded second series.

Asked if Splash! would be back for a third series, Daley replied: "I don't know. No decisions have been made. It's down to ITV, isn't it?"

Splash! became ITV's highest-rating new entertainment series for five years when it debuted in 2013, and was renewed just two days after its first series ended.

However, the latest edition struggled against The Voice UK on the BBC and its final two weeks ago only drew in 3.79 million viewers, 1.5 million fewer than last year.

Diversity dancer Perri Kiely was crowned winner of Splash! 2014, beating Paralympian Richard Whitehead, Boyzone star Keith Duffy and Towie's Dan Osborne.

What a week it's been! Not least for yours truly, as it's been the first full week since November where I've not been flinging myself off diving boards and swanning around in spandex. And I have to say, I've missed it!

Not the bruises or the tears, naturally, but the camaraderie and the sport itself have been second to none, and my whole Splash! experience has been fantastic.

Narrowly pipped to the post by Towie's Dan Osborne last Saturday, I didn't quite make it to the final show in a swimming costume, but content enough being last girl standing, I took my seat alongside the rest of the cast of 2014 to enjoy the all-male final. Dan, Keith Duffy, Diversity's Perri Kiely and Paralympian Richard Whitehead all donned their briefest of briefs yet to take to the boards one final time.

Perri Kiely's 3 metre springboard: Score - 30

Leon:"It had everything, complexity, execution and you absolutely nailed it. I'm impressed."

Andy: "You were brilliant tonight. The timing, the shape, the form and the finish - just great."

Tom: "You attacked the finish, you attacked the shape, I couldn't have asked for anymore."

Leon: "It was a good dive. You still look a little bit like a rag doll, but that was a proper dive."

Andy: "That is a remarkable improvement over just a couple of weeks.

Perri Kiely has been crowned the series two winner of Tom Daley's diving competition Splash!.

The Diversity member beat Paralympian Richard Whitehead, who finished second, and Boyzone singer Keith Duffy, who ended up third.

The Only Way Is Essex star Dan Osbourne came in fourth place.

After learning the result, Kiely said: "Speechless. Thank you so much to everybody who voted, it's been absolutely incredible."

Each contestant had to dive twice in the final, once alone and again with Daley.

Kiely managed a perfect score for his solo 3-metre springboard dive, before earning 27.5 out of 30 for his synchronised dive with Daley.

Of Kiely's first dive, judge Leon Taylor stated: "It had everything - complexity, execution and you absolutely nailed it. I'm impressed."

We've been entertained by tears, tiny trunks and tons of Tom Daley, but sadly it couldn't last. Splash! concludes its second series tonight (February 15) with an all-male final, and we at Digital Spy are going to savour every single minute we have left.

Diversity young 'un Perri Kiely is favourite to win, but Paralympian Richard Whitehead, Towie hunk Dan Osborne and Boyzone star Keith Duffy could certainly give him a run for his money.

Splash! finalist Dan Osborne has promised to get an Olympic tattoo if he wins the series tonight (February 15).

The Towie star has made a pact with Paralympian Richard Whitehead to get the tattoo if he finishes ahead of him in the competition.

However, speaking to Pa, Osborne said that he'd have a tough time beating Perri Kiely.

He said: "When you're in the final with Perri who's just flinging around double somersaults and I'm struggling to get a tuck dive… so I don't think I'll win.

"I would love to win, it'd be amazing, especially just to beat Richard. It'd be the most amazing thing to beat an Olympian and if I do beat him I've promised to get an Olympic tattoo on my chest just like his.

"I've promised to get that even if I come third and he comes fourth – it's game on," he added.
