Filip Dumitriu was born on 11 June 1918 in Mangalia, Constanta, Romania. He was a production designer and costume designer, known for The Immortals (1974), Nufarul rosu (1956) and Haiducii (1966). He died on 30 October 1977 in Bucharest, Romania.
